What crossed my mind was...the connotation of lemmings ( ie. fans ) following Adam. Leemings can be grey. Right now, only she knows what she meant through this depiction. She meant the Pied Piper reference in comments translated on her Twitter. She seems sweet and I'm sure didn't mean it to be "wtf?" to most of us. I think it got lost in translation from Japan. My first thought after wtf was I'm a rat or rather a mouse (that sounds better), then all that time she spent on making mice. lol

about Adam sitting on a stool and whirling around the stage...the F in AFL for me is that he can do and is both...naturally that Ferrari/Ford comment is very ironic if not hilarious considering Adam ditched is Ford he got from Idol the second he could ...he said he went back to listening to glam rock, what made him fall in love with music in the first place and he said that yes, those soft slow songs are good but there is no one really ripping it, letting loose anymore...sooooo...I think we can all be very excited what he has in store for us! P.S.: Yes he high notes I totally DIGG that "STRUUUUUUUUT" in well 'Strut'...but a vocal moment I also always look forward to is in that "whyyyyyyy" in 'under pressure'...he takes it from low to very high... PPS.: cassie...Adele went to a quite prestigious (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BRIT_School) music school/college in London. Jessi J also went there.

Isn't the fable of the Pied Piper of Hamlin known in America? This is Adam as the Pied Piper who lured all the rats out of the infested town of Hamlin in medieval times, I believe by playing his flute. Or in Adam's case - singing to them. Very well known, but I still say "WTF!" Yeah WTF? They all went over the cliff, didn't they?

PPS.: cassie ...Adele went to a quite prestigious (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BRIT_School) music school/college in London. Jessi J also went there. Yes, she did. That does not mean that she studied voice. Especially formal classical voice training rather than pop stylings. Or she ignored advice? Who knows? Out of curiosity, I YTed her in interviews. I wanted to hear her speaking voice to hear if she had a naturally gravelly, raspy tone. She does not. That reinforces my opinion that the strained sound when she sings is poor technique, not the natural condition of her cords.

I agree that Adele has a lot of strain and pressure when she sings. It sounds like she is forcing out the notes. It is painful for me to listen to. It is very harmful on the vocal cords, and the problems she has had were totally predictable. Inevitable, in fact. I thought that after her surgery to repair her cords she would work with a vocal coach to change her habits and use proper technique, but, surprisingly, she still sounded the same. Why? Did she not want to change her sound because so many fans love that throaty, smoky tone? Did she think that she could preserve her voice with elixirs, inhalers, new age crystals? Or did she somehow, subconsciously, want to torpedo her concert career? I have read that she hated touring.
Any discussion on voice, especially Adam's, is central to why I am here whether lurking or active. So as for the list for Angelina, please add me as well - whatever number it's up to. LOL I think it must be up to about 30 by now so I'm pretty sure Cassie will be able to convince Angelina to oblige

Very well known, but I still say "WTF!" To use one of your other favourite expressions "it's not that deep", I think the idea is that Adam's voice could charm the rats over the cliff. Count me among the rats!!
