From my perspective, Adam isn't wasting any of the opportunities that he has right now and luckily, he has a TON of flexibility for someone juggling a massive band gig like Queen and a solo career. His time for his own music does not seem to be on everyone's timetable but he's one lucky and incredible force to be reckoned with and to get both sides of the coin is amazing, and very few get this kind of opportunity at any point in their careers. Adam is incredibly smart regarding his career path and I think he might not get enough credit for that at times, generally speaking. No one is forcing him to sing lead for Queen and he does it out of sheer enjoyment and naturally, for a hefty paycheck. Most importantly, he is happy, and that should be enough. Adam is also smart regarding media, and knows well what it means to his fans, when he says his music is ready. As long as it was my own imagenary timetable that only existed in my head, I said nothing. But he's the one that set the timetable now, and since I trust him to know what he's doing, I think if something had changed, he would've told us. So as long as he says nothing, I take it his own timetable is still on, and we're going to get new music very soon.

Hello everyone. I'm gonna quote part of what I posted on Sept 14 again. "...I have a friend who is with WMG/WBR and I have spoken to him about Adam. They absolutely love him there and have no intention of dropping him from the label, and are very supportive of his music and QAL. They think QAL is...the focus at the moment, and when Adam has more time to work on his own music, that is when they will release it. It's pretty simple, really. I hope this helps." My friend works in the marketing/promo dept, so he would be one of the first to know if something was going to be released. I don't know about any future single song release, we didn't talk about that, but I'll ask him for an update in a week or two, and If I can share it, I will. BTW, they admire his beauty and his snark and his powerful chi. Thanks for posting --- makes complete sense. There is no sign that WBR has any issue with Adam and there are many signs that he is not done with this new music project. That said, Marketing/Promo (my old world) is really not the first to hear about where artists are on projects until they are accepts by the label -- by that I mean done writing and recording, but not done production. If your friend has nothing on the schedule for Adam, than that is one more confirmation Adam is not done.

Adam has split his digital media presence -- IG has Queen in it and his solo career info; Twitter, Facebook and his official sites are focused on "Two Fux" and his solo career (WBR) with a bit of personal color now and then; and AdamLambertFans.com is focused on Queen tour. And Snapchat is mostly personal info/fun things/fan engagement. Seems very balanced to me but overall, his solo career is not secondary to Queen. Isn't it amazing that this is Adam's mini bio? ADAMLAMBERT Lead singer for QUEEN, Solo Artist on Warner Bros Records, some actin gigs too! Out AF. I love my life. Snap: adamlambert adamofficial.com He is not a "guest stand in vocalist" for Queen, he is not some indie artist struggling to find the money to record and promote his music, and he is an actor. Plus he is both "Out AF." and loves his life. In a few years, he's come a long way. His old brief bio (not posted on IG but on general sites) was... "Adam Lambert is an American singer best known for his finalist position in the eighth season of American Idol in 2009. His huge vocal range and glam-rocker style made him a standout. Lambert came in second place." The highlighted part above speaks volumes to me. Adam is living his dream doing what he loves by juggling two side by side projects and... being financially secure. It doesn't seem like there is much need to rush new music. Why would he? I am happy to wait until he's absolutely ready. This writing camp in France seems like an opportunity to not miss, for many reasons.
