Whether our group decides to donate to this effort,I've found my organization! As many of you have found out there are a variety of rescue centers - this one seems to bring them all together under one umbrella. Here in TN we have a wonderful organization that takes in older "folks". This sanctuary stole my heart years ago and my efforts are centered there normally. But, for Adam's birthday, I'll send a donation elsewhere as the need is so much greater on the coast right now. I totally agree with you. There are so many organizations listed here, I think there is something there for everyone. i really like this idea, because it is very much personal to us here, as well as important for CA right now, and given the one year anniversary of Pharaoh, it is clearly meaningful for Adam. So it checks all the boxes in my book. Here is the direct link to the animal reunification page within the site: tipsfromsurvivors.org/reunification/I verified for the first two organizations, but I presume that most on the list would accept both paypal and credit cards, and so if anyone would like to donate to California, it should be possible without problem, even from other countries. As suggested, I would also like to add www.walkmehomerescue.org , the organization that Pharaoh came from, and www.vcas.us/ from Ventura county to the list. Do you guys want me to try to set something up via causevox.com, to make it a more unified effort and get some kind of tally, if possible? I have a question in with their customer support, whether they allow a page with multiple charities, and if yes, how that works. But I think, I will only hear back on Monday. They do have a feature that allows the addition of individual fundraising pages, just don't know the details yet, i.e. how that works from a cost standpoint, and whether our international fans can be included. Will keep you posted.

Yes please crazforadam that would be wonderful. IMHO having a group effort for Adams birthday would be very meaningful especially for all animals made homeless because of Cali fires and mud slides I just keep thinking of the fleeing horses. If you could get us info on how to donate in Adams name that would be great we. Could then decide to do it alone or as a group. Thanks for all the help you can provide I just think there isn't a whole lot of time to get something off the ground especially for those poor animals in Cali

Great ideas on Adam's BD project and the donations to pet rescue/shelters! I don't remember if it was Adam himself, if it was in an interview, or if it was a written comment about AMA performance somewhere, or it was a fan comment I can't find it, but right after AMA someone said that Adam had broken the "glass-ceiling" and all the shards fell on him, yet the other LGBTQ artist can fly after that! It was so well said/written that its still stuck in my mind and I'm glad that it opened the doors, even a little, for other artists. The heat Adam got from the community itself I perceived as being fear. Suddenly the image they had for such a very long time changed and people got scared about the consequences. Many people are scared of change in general. Adam is one of the bravest people I know. It takes a lot to be so honest and to be able to live with the consequences. As for being on that "blacklist", I think that is a thing for the label to fix. They can fix it, do more for Adam if they want to. As much as I wanted to get past AMA many times, I realized it can't be put behind, not really. When those Singapore and russian petitions in 2016 on not allowing Adam to perform used AMA as their basis it made me so angry cause it was years and years after AMA and certain people couldn't let it go Yet its completely ok to ignore DUI's, drug usage ie actual criminal offenses cause it "goes with the lifestyle" and not ok that someone kissed someone on stage . How fun would it be if petitions were written to forbid artists with DUI's, drug problems etc to perform, sorta like the doping scandals in sports I wish articles (like the one from billboard from yesterday) won't reference AMA at all. Someday we will get there. I was annoyed when every article used "openly gay", which they don't do anymore at least. Took them years Very well said. I read that Troye is going to be on SNL. I know Sam has done it several times and Frank Ocean as well. It helped to put them on the map to a much wider public. The excuse from some has always been, well Sam and Frank are "safe gays" (whatever that means). Well, I guess there will need to be some other reason to come up with as no one is calling Troye "safe." In fact, he is being called a trailblazer. I hope that when Adam releases some new music, he will get some high profile chances. I don't think he needs to do anything in a video for attention (or to make a statement to satisfy some who fail to give him credit for doors he already opened). He is a well recognized talent and role model for his community and has been that for many years. I just want to see some of those doors that he kicked open benefit him in a much bigger way. His success with his solo career (with many roadblocks along the way) and as Queen frontman is a statement in and of itself, imo. Also agree with Craazyforadam 's statement"I'm getting those OUT magazine flashbacks. Some person who does not even follow Adam regularly, trying to tell Adam, what kind of public space Adam is supposed to reside in. What kind of 'gay' he is supposed to be and what his duty and service to the community ought to be."

From what I have read he has been offered parts that he turned down for one reason or another...

you know it's not bad when you have 1.1 million instagram followers and 10% like a picture you share in the first hour, midnight at that. I think it's a pretty good percentage anyway. How do you get 10%? That would have to be 110k likes. 😊 oops, Damn math.

Frank sang out of tune as usual but that was all. However Adam Levine did the gay joke skit there and he has a gay brother so it was bothersome to me and not funny. But Adam has release several album since right after Idol so I doubt they would expect him to do that now as a requirement for performing on the show. Would not expect him to be a host or anything.
