He needs to use that JCS publicity. Putting a single out right after that would give him a chance to get a big one. If they wait until fall all the publicity of that is gone and he's forgotten again. Good point, if he is in JCS, I hope his label can get it together and take advantage of any momentum it may create! And also, they need to pick the right single and put lots of money/power behind it. Universe make this happen please. ....also they can include the new single into the tour set...

In an effort to zero in on QAL So America rumors I decided to take a peek into queen zone and queen online. Nothing there, not a word that I could find! .... we have more information here than on the boards that seemingly deal with all things Queen... >:D Most people there are only active and interested in Queen, not QAL, imo. I have the feeling, that most people on Queen Online haven’t even realized that Queen is getting a Grammy.😉 There is only a little mention buried in one of their threads. Or they are simply not interested...

If we are going to pick just one organization, then I think we should pick the shelter that Pharaoh came from and donate directly to that shelter. Otherwise, we could all pick a deserving shelter in our area to donate to. We could keep a list of shelters donated to and if possible send that to Adam with a Birthday Card. Besides the pets displaced by the wild fires in California, there are also many pets displaced by the hurricanes in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Puerto Rico, etc. Sounds like a great idea. Adam sent out that post with a beautiful picture of Pharaoh saying he fell in love a year ago. My guess is he would appreciate those donating to Pharaoh' s shelter or one in their area in his name. Adam did not post that anniversary pic of Pharaoh. That was a fan’s post.

I think it is important to distinguish between life TV performances and music videos when it comes to libidinous moves that music artists perform. Adam took a big risk in 2009 with the AMAs and I think it started with the song choice. FYE doesn't really showcase what Adam is best at, so I think it was a very questionable move when he re-introduced himself to the public 6 months after Idol with that type of song, and the stuff that happened on stage was clearly too much for many to digest. If established artists try the shock value it is one thing, but for someone who wants to start a recording career it seems much smarter to not gamble too hard. I think what happened on that stage was rather un-calculated and more an in the moment type thing, but I believe it hurt Adam more than it benefitted him. That's likely why he is still in the closet with his music videos and why FYE remains the sexiest mv to date (at least for me). Thanks to Adam's talent, charisma, and persistence, he got back on track, more than that of course, and he is certainly not shy about who he is. I also see that he is definitely a respected artist by now. The collaboration with Queen was a gift from god indeed. I can only hope that Adam too will get applauded some time for an authentic music video that reflects his orientation, similar to those ones that some of his peers release. If that happens, I would call it major success.

So it was a fan who posted the picture of Pharaoh and said Adam fell in love a year ago? LOL. Fantasies going crazy again? ETA: On a different note. I really don't care what Adam does in a video as it will be his choice. I would love to see him get some significant radio play in the US tho. That would be so much more helpful to his career, imo. Would make a much bigger statement if he were seen more on award shows (winning a few would be great) and big events, which would also lead to bigger concerts.

It is still very difficult for openly gay artists to get far in the music business, especially in the U.S. There are only a handful, including Adam.I applaud all who can make it because from what I have read and from the gay artists I listen to on YOUTUBE It's very ,very difficult ,almost impossible,to get radio play.A couple are writing songs for others behind the scene ,because of lack of record deals,or radio play.
I remember when Adam first became popular ,some older gay folks were furious that Adam was getting so much attention, when they laid the ground work for gay rights..I.E. Remember that Miami magazine editor who had a fit because Adam was put on the cover of his free magazine, when the he was out of town.. Adam was performing at a gay pride weekend a number of years ago, that I attended..Many of us wrote furious letters to that editor who thought Adam hadn't paid his dues...I guess It's all relative.

The idea of donating to an animal rescue site in honor of Adam and his birthday is certainly appropriate!
Just this afternoon I drove by a little makeshift 'booth' in Coffey Park (where over 1000 homes were destroyed in October's Sonoma County Tubbs fire) that displays photos of rescued or lost animals, in hopes of reuniting them with their owners. This little booth is maintained by a group of volunteers, called 'The Sonoma and Napa Fire Pets Rescue and Reunification Team'. I googled this team, and was led to what I think is another very worthy animal rescue organization - one that has worked to rescue animals of all species, through the hurricanes of 2017, as well as the fires of autumn. Please take a look at 'TipsfromSurvivors.org' . . . and their 'TFS Animal Reunification' division. Within this site are many ancillary rescue and shelter organizations. All have worked to locate, rescue, and/or reunite beloved pets with their owners; and many provide needed veterinary care.
The night of the fire, as my husband and I fled the flames, we came down from our 'Mayacama' mountains to the only stoplight on our road. There, a traffic officer was overriding the signal and having everyone evacuate using both sides of the road. I was so touched to see, parked along the side of the road, a long line of pick-up trucks and horse trailers - just waiting for the 'OK' to head into harm's way to rescue livestock. Such selfless, immediate, and organized bravery!
Maybe each of us could contribute to a chosen animal rescue group - and then, somehow, tweet or send an instagram message to Adam, letting him know. The tragedies of 2017 displaced so many loving animals; this is a way to acknowledge this truth, be of help, and celebrate the man who has, dare I say, changed our lives.
Just my thoughts . . . .

Whether our group decides to donate to this effort,I've found my organization! As many of you have found out there are a variety of rescue centers - this one seems to bring them all together under one umbrella. Here in TN we have a wonderful organization that takes in older "folks". This sanctuary stole my heart years ago and my efforts are centered there normally. But, for Adam's birthday, I'll send a donation elsewhere as the need is so much greater on the coast right now.
