He will have management and likely already has/had it in the works ready to sign as soon as the DMG contract terminated, the question is who is it. On a practical level, how would that work? If the speculation is correct and Adam has JCS, there would have had to be contact between Adam and JCS well before now - probably months before now. If he were approached before the termination of his contract with DMG (or if his name were presented to the JCS folks for consideration), then I'd think DMG would have been involved in the negotiations and, if so, would expect to be compensated accordingly. Unless Adam were to tell the JCS peeps that he couldn't do any negotiating until the DMG contract ended, which would seem a dangerous gambit if it were something he really wanted, not to mention wildly impractical from the production's POV, I don't get how there could be a deal ready to go now that would not have involved DMG. Just talking out of my ass here, but it doesn't make sense to me. The only explanation that would make sense in my mind is if the split with DMG took place much longer ago than the web site change would indicate. I would think the contract would read - can be cancelled upon 6 weeks notice from either party. When an artist gives notice then they could start working with someone else but couldn't close/announce deals till times up so you wouldn't want too long of a lead time. So if you can't announce a deal how do you keep your fans up on new things? Hints of course. That would help TPTB know that you continue to be interested also.

I Haven't checked this out.... I just did. He is not listed as their artist anymore. DMG only has 3 clients? Did they only have 4 with Adam on the list, or have they lost others? Does anyone know or is that data in the history? Seems like a pretty small client roster.

Seems like a pretty small client roster. I only remember the four in recent years. That's why when Katy got Idol for 25 mil, I felt there was not much chance of Adam getting it too. That would be most of their clients. Of course, I held out hope anyway but the chance of them fighting for a second client to get that gig seemed slim.

About the DMG change, In general, I think change is good. New eyes, creative sparks. Ultimately, I think Adam knows what he's doing. Not worried about anything. Yeah i agree. I Think Adam knows what he is doing. I think a change in management is good. From what I recall DMG also have Katy Perry on their roster. But be good for Adam from a creative stance. Adam always says how he does not like too keep things the same for too long. Which is prob why I follow a Lambert over a Smith. I find Adam far more exciting and unpredictable. Well, I guess I feel better! The comments here make it sound like it's a good thing that Adam is changing management. My mom always said, "Look forward, not back." So I'm hoping that he'll wind up in good hands and that his new music will take off strong with good promo. (and that a certain acting gig is in the very near future) As for SS, he has a lovely, deep voice. But it does all sound pretty much the same. That sort of voice, however pretty, isn't very adaptable to a lot of different styles of music. And maybe his being more overt about his sexuality isn't helping either. I don't think anyone should have to hide who they are their entire lifetime, or be one person in private and another in public. Seems like a difficult way to live (although I know lots of gay people must do it all the time.)

Maybe it is simply that he earned his nickname of Same Smith with this album. 😉 His music is pretty whiny, down in the dumps, not really much fun to listen to over and over. And realistically, in the US his positioning himself so gender fluid is a big risk right now. I guess this is all off topic, but I want to chime in anyhow that it bugs the heck out of me that SS's music is on at least two commercials that I've seen really frequently during football games. I sure hope Adam gets a song placed in a commercial at some point. Yes, he had the Oreo gig, but it wasn't his song, hardly sounded like him, and was put on all that much at least when I watch TV. Actually, Adam did beat SS to the punch. Welcome To The Show was played during the National Hockey League playoff games as pre game advertisements leading to the start of the game, and in mini commercial form by sport networks. They played a short clip of the song with game highlights. -- mainly the words WTTS... So welcome to the show Bring on all the lights Let it shine on you We're together here tonight IT WAS VERY POWERFUL, especially the way it was edited with the fast paced hockey clips. I am not sure many knew it was Adam...as my extended family members (super hockey fans) really did not know who sang the song. I was happy to inform them, even if they did not ask! 😜

Seems like a pretty small client roster. DMG --Started in 1985 as per the Home page. Lots of artists have come and gone. I have read through the website many times over the years Adam was on, as I often checked to see if KD Lang was still listed on the page. Why would I be doing that? The wife of a Calgary oil billionaire ( and part owner of our NHL team- Flames) left her husband for KD and my girl friend often chatted with this gal while walking their same breed dog). The billionaire was also part owner of our pro football team, Stampeders...thus my stampsgal moniker). Six degrees of seperation! 😁 I thought there was another lady ?? pictured on that was on the page for a time. (I am not positive...so no quoting on that concept.) It always seemed to be a company that did not service a large number of clients. Former clients ...that I recognize by name...Tracey Chapman, Counting Crows, Go-Go Girls.

The recordings started at Top 13: 13. Black or White (Michael Jackson) 12/11 (Double Elimination). Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash) 10. Tracks Of My Tears (Smokey Robinson & the Miracles) 9, Play That Funky Music (Wild Cherry) 8. Mad World (Tears for Fears/Gary Jules version) 7 (Part I). Born to be Wild (Steppenwolf) 7/6 (Part 2 - Double Elimination) If I Can't Have You (Yvonne Elliman) 5. Feeling Good (Muse version) 4. Whole Lotta Love (Led Zeppelin) and Slow Ride duet with Allison Iraheta (Foghat) 3. One (U2) and Cryin' (Aerosmith) 2. Mad World reprise (not recorded), A Change is Gonna Come (Sam Cooke) and No Boundaries Footnote: the iTunes version of Tracks of My Tears was different from the live performance. The audio recording used the original Motown backing tracks. haha...I remember a fun blog, that ranked Idol performances...#1 I think was Kelly Clarksons performance of "Natural Woman" and #2 Adam (can't remember the song) but reading through the listing he kept on mentioning that he felt cheated that the studio recording was like the original and he "still wants his 99c back"...I think Adam even made a few other top 10 spots in it but the author argued that Kelly was a leaman and Adam a professional, that's why he had to bow out on the first spot. I think there were a few rankings of Idol performances and one said that if a ranking doesn't have an Adam performance as #1 they are lying and just looking for clicks (I can't find it ) lol...this is funny...Adam didn't make #1 but most of the other spots^^ (we had this, I remember this) www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/readers-poll-the-10-best-american-idol-performances-20160407/adam-lambert-if-i-cant-have-you-20160406P.S.: Sam Smith already paying the price? That would be fast! (and very indicative of how mush process has been made since then, and how balsy Adam was and still is)

Thanks pattihum...I did not remember the logo...but I recollect that image, now that I see it. I would think that was part of the deal to advertise who it was sung by. Funny the family had not pick up on it when I started "boasting about it"...guess they were to busy looking at the hockey part, haha. --Glad to hear it was played for College Basketball as well! (This conversation certainly indicates which sports some Adam fans gravitate to.)

What I never got was why did Adam never promote that song. It could of been a solid radio hit for him. Heck I don't think he has had a song on the radio since Ghost Town. So that is three years.
