I am certain Adam has new management.
And I am equally sure it was his choice. Artist management firms do not drop artists who make money for them.
It will be interesting to see what else is changing.
> The DMG team and Bradford did a good job for Adam but their getting older and their cut of Katy's Idol and label deal might not lead to hard-working management. Just guessing.

Someone up thread (Patti?) made a comment about perhaps this is why there has been no JCS announcement. And that makes sense.

I am certainly not worried about Adam. I really think JCS would be great but I don't think it will be "career ending" if he doesn't get it or "career making" if he gets it.
If he does do it, I hope it does better critically and in the ratings than "Rocky Horror." RH only had 6.6 million viewers -- a guest performance on The Voice would have had more impact. Note: I think the only really good thing about RH was Adam's performance.
Overall, these TV musicals are dropping in the ratings and none have gotten great reviews. And they are no longer events because there are too many of them.

JMHO on Sam Smith not getting any Brit Award noms -- I think he is paying the price for having an OK debut album that was super popular and got too many awards, and getting the Oscar for a not great song. His second album got better reviews from critics than Lonely Hour, but he is really not that great.
I saw him live once -- and that was enough for me. I don't think I am alone.

In any case, I'll be happy if he gets the part. I will not feel bad or worry if he does not.
