Interesting comments in this article about Katy Perry's album Witness and the effect of reduced sales on her career.

Time for Adam to add some real guitar sounds to his new music and encourage new fans to pick up the instrument.

I was interested in how streaming has developed since Adam released TOH and came across a very interesting publication. It has great global statistics, that show, how the music industry makes money and differentiates between different markets. Plus I found out (no, actually I knew that before 😉), that in Germany more than 50% of the music is still bought in the form of CDs/physical copies (in 2016).Yes, we’re dinosaurs.😂 But hey, musicians make more money from it. Plus we got a physical single of Ghost Town.👍 www.ifpi.org/downloads/GMR2017.pdfAnd by the way, vinyls are having a big comeback. By now, there are more and more of them back in the music-Shops. Is that the same in other countries?

Congrats @adamlambert with 1⃣0⃣ million @spotify streams for your #AcousticLive! EP!🎉 Now 10,002,125 streams! (17 January 2018) #NowPlaying 🎧 The version of WWFM in Acoustic Live is my very favorite version of that song!!! A few years back, between Trespassing & TOH, I was visiting my Dad who had previously only dished Adam for his "shrill" voice on the high notes. But while working on Dad's PC, I was playing the Acousitc Live album on his stereo system. Dad came into the room while WWFM was playing and asked who was that singing. When I said Adam Lambert, Dad said that he may just have to change his mind about him!
