Interesting comments in this article about Katy Perry's album Witness and the effect of reduced sales on her career. Part of the problem is also probably outgrowing pop. She and Gaga are now in their thirties. The tweens and teens are now into Ariana, Camilla, Demi, Mendes, Selena and a lot of the younger singers. Yes, some in top 40 are over thirty but the kids are going gaga over the younger ones. But where would someone like Katy go when the reality of the situation sets in? She does not seem to be diverse in her singing talent.

Please someone take this Adamopoly print!! Otherwise she has to throw it out, which would be a shame! glambertparty: Is anyone interested in an Adamopoly game board photo print? It's been kept rolled up and sealed in its original shipping box since I received it. All you have to do is attach to a foam/wood board and seal if desired. Cards and game pieces NOT included. twitter.com/glambertparty/status/953709916346310658/photo/1glambertparty: Last call. If nobody claims it I have to throw it out tomorrow (deal I made with my mom lol)

I was interested in how streaming has developed since Adam released TOH and came across a very interesting publication. It has great global statistics, that show, how the music industry makes money and differentiates between different markets. Plus I found out (no, actually I knew that before 😉), that in Germany more than 50% of the music is still bought in the form of CDs/physical copies (in 2016).Yes, we’re dinosaurs.😂 But hey, musicians make more money from it. Plus we got a physical single of Ghost Town.👍 www.ifpi.org/downloads/GMR2017.pdfAnd by the way, vinyls are having a big comeback. By now, there are more and more of them back in the music-Shops. Is that the same in other countries? Vinyls sold more then actual albums in the Christmas periord over here in NZ. So yeah they are coming back. It seems Retro is in right now. Maybe the present sucks so much, were going backwards LOL. Fan engagement is important. But I Think with Adam touring with Queen. He has still managed to maintain that connection. And please the Rockier audience. I Do wonder if his new album well be inspired by his latest tour with Queen. I hope so.

I hope so.I understand that Adam should please himself first and foremost, but then again I am sure he wouldn't mind getting some rockers on board I for myself have been crossing my fingers for a while now that his own music ties into the sound of Queen music. I can't think of anything more perfect. Adam's voice has no bounds in range and nuances, he has the theatricality, and he sure knows how to put a fresh spin on something that's considered "retro".

You guys do realize that Alex Newell is singing Maria Magdalena from JCS in that clip Adam liked and commented?! (thanks metislight for pointing it out to me ) Vinyls are coming back here in Germany as well. Music lover still like them because you get the best sound there is. For my personal habits of how and when I listen to music it's simply impractical. My brother fixed a player up that was at our house from years gone by and mad it work and I think there is still another one in the basement, that could be put to use. Recently in our newspaper there was an article that tapes/cassetts are coming back as well. Now THAT really surprised me. I understand Vinyls, because you just don't get that sound digitally, but tapes?! really?! They wear out really quick and they're not practical... lol, you're too funny sizzling63... the "hot photo" makes you want new music, but that Adam licensed a new song doesn't spur your excitement
