With Adam mention: twitter.com/Slate/status/985591278057480193Slate @slate Beyoncé may have redefined music, perfection, human life as we know it at Coachella: slate.me/2JO3p1c Chance the Rapper tweeted that it was simply “the greatest show to ever happen,” while Adam Lambert wrote that it “makes one want to just forget everything they knew about live performance, sit down, and take notes…. and weep openly.” It appears to have broken Adele.

Just got back from a three-day weekend in the boonies with bad wifi and phone connections, so I haven't kept up with much lately. But I will just say that I hope Beyoncé gives Adam LOTS of inspiration for his next tour. I don't mean that his show has to be like hers, or as big as hers, etc. but it sure sounds like she knew how to knock the socks off of just about everybody. Glad to see Adam's tweets are among the featured ones.
Hope we get some "new music" news very soon! And I did enjoy that interview he just did. It was pretty Queen-related but that's to be expected. But he did manage to talk a bit about his own new music. Bring it on now, PLEASE!

No offense, but all this Beyonce adulation is making me barf. I really appreciated the precision in executing the dance moves and the band's performance. It was spectacular as far as the set and involvement of so many people who obviously were well rehearsed. I was mesmerized for the first 1/2 hour but then it became repetitious. The dance moves were great to watch the first and second time but most appeared to be the same - including the loose-jointed dancer who kept throwing his arms behind his body. A few stood out. like the 4 male dancers doing gymnastics around Beyonce. The drill team formations and band were neat and fun to watch, but again, only in shorter doses. It reminded me of those old dance movies of the 1930s and some scenes from Esther Williams movies where the swimmers lined up behind her and then legs starting appearing, one after the other. It was a huge undertaking and I applaud the people who worked so hard. Maybe those who are going a little overboard with the adulation aren't used to seeing this kind of big production.
