FYI - The Kennedy Center Honors are a huge deal. National broadcast. Very prestigious.

@pattihum: If Shosh is at Strictly right now, like she tweeted, then they could be taping Adam's performance before they tape the Sunday show. As a matter of fact, they could be taping it by using the live Saturday audience. Idol has done that before. Yes. But still there is no way, he would make it to Washington DC in time. He would have had to take a flight yesterday or early today. A flight from London to DC takes 8-9 hours. And that’s only the flight.

Do we believe this Knapp guy? Didn't he use to be a douchebag? I dimly remember. Yes, Toby is both reliable and a bit of douchebag.
And he would not have tweeted that without permission.

According to the schedule I posted on page 2, the Cher tribute is today. Shosh tweeted "Strictly", therefor Adam is there and not in DC. I guess it's possible that there are perormances at the award ceremony itself, and that's what's airs on TV, as opposed to the tribute shows? In that case, I think Adam could make it in time for tomorrow, because of the time difference. It's also possible that we're being trolled by Knapp... ETA I see Q3 doesn't think so, so I'll take her word. I really don't know the guy.

So if Adam is taping his Strictly performance just BEFORE tonight's live show, he could make a flight to DC tonight and be on SUNDAY's Kennedy Center show. Does Adam need to be there for the Strictly rehearsal? It could be for everyone else.
Just a thought.

Many Adam fans follow him and (although he was team Kris Allen during Idol), he supported Adam singles, interviewed him multiple times, etc.

Well I'm very excited that he will be on British TV and hope somebody tapes it for us. Like Adam's IG said "What do you Want from Me..'He's not superman.. If he was, he still couldn't get there on time..LOL Rumors to drive us crazy Yes, rumours. 😁 Maybe he will be on that Cher Tribute in some capacity, but not live today, I think. by the way: His IG wasn’t saying: „What do you want from me?“ It said: „Baby, you’re beautiful, there’s nothing wrong with you. It’s me, I’m a freak...“ whatever or whoever prompted him to post that. I don’t think, it were the speculations about the Cher tribute.

United Flight #123 leaves London Heathrow at 7:30 am Sunday morning and arrives Washington Dullus at 11:15 am Sunday morning. That would put Adam there in plenty of time for 6:00 PM performance and a rehearsal before hand.

I know very little about Strickly -- but here is what I can find about the taping schedule. You’ll notice they don’t say “live from Elstree Studios” on the Sunday night – and that’s because the results show is recorded in advance.
After everyone gathers together to chant “keeeeeep dancing!!” at the end of the live show on Saturday evening, there’s a bit of a break so audiences at home can vote. As the vote closes, filming for the Sunday night results show begins.
Tess Daly, Claudia Winkleman and the judges come back into the studio wearing new outfits and everyone talks about “last night’s performances”. The musical guest arrives and does a couple of takes, the pro dancers perform a group number and if anyone fluffs their auto-cue lines they can film them again.
But some things CAN’T be re-recorded. The moment the celebrities find out if they’ve got through? That’s shot in a single take. And there are no do-overs for the dance-off.
Filming ends late on Saturday night – but the audience in the studio is asked to keep the secret until the result is revealed on Sunday.
Perhaps it is reversed and Adam will be there on Sunday? All Toby said was this Weekend.
