The musical biopic based on the career trajectory of Queen and frontman Freddie Mercury has surpassed the $1 billion mark with $1,088,018,915 at the worldwide box office as of April 14, according to IMDb Pro.
That is a very sudden jump to 1 billion, after it took quite a while to 'crawl' from 850 mil to 900. I wonder whether that is a China update that has finally has come in, or whether a lot of other countries together have resulted in this sudden jump.
Given that they say 'box office', this should not be a jump due to digital sales tallies, so that number should be separate.
I want to see a few other sources confirm that before I quite believe that most recent jump. But either way, quite a return on investment on the original 55 mil spent. The online discussions, whether this movie would be able to make any profit at all, are less than 6 months old. They read kind of comical today.
And in the end, what a proof that Brian and Roger were so right in their insistence to take the movie in the direction they did, rather than letting all kinds of fractions dictate the outcome with their individual agendas.
What a ride it has been, and it is not over yet.
==========
In complete change of topic, but due to current events.
My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Paris too. This city is shaken a lot these days. This was hard to watch today, and yes, the people's faces as well as the moment when that steeple fell, reminded me very much of 9/11 too. I hope, that much can be rebuilt or that some of the inside artifacts have miraculously survived. We will probably hear some about it soon.
Macron already said it’ll be rebuilt. Also I see many reports saying that the majority if not all of treasures both art and religious were saved. Some were already off site because of the on-going renovations. so that’s just a little bit of “good news” amidst the tragedy....I am sure we’ll hear more on the subject for years to come...thank god no life was lost!

I guess someone is really looking for someone to take the Adam Lambert mantle away from Adam on Idol, lol. First it was Uche now I guess it is Jeremiah Harmon. Of course, Lionel did not mention Adam but why let the opportunity pass? Too funny. 10 years after Adam's Idol run and some are still looking for the next Adam. And the Freddie reference by Lionel does not make it so. HAAA! 'Notes that Freddie Mercury can't do': Judges stunned by 'American Idol' performancePastor’s son Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon — with his powerful pipes, pure and unguarded heart, and poignant coming-out story — has been one to watch this American Idol season. But this Sunday, during the first public-voted performance show of Season 17, he took the competition to an entirely new stratospheric leve — “past Pluto and Mars,” as judge Lionel Richie put it. The astounded Lionel went so far as to invoke the name of late, great Queen showman Freddie Mercury — praise that even Idol runner-up Adam Lambert, who actually fronts Queen now, never received in Season 8.After Jeremiah’s breathtakingly beautiful piano performance of Sir Elton John’s “We All Fall in Love Sometimes,” Lionel gasped, “You just took an Elton John song, and you went past Freddie Mercury and you Jeremiah’d the whole thing. I mean, there are notes that Elton can’t do. There are notes that — I can’t believe it — Freddie Mercury can’t do. You went to Z-flat somewhere up there.” Added fellow judge Luke Bryan, “I see ‘Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon’ on this big billboard.” news.yahoo.com/notes-freddie-mercury-cant-judges-stunned-american-idol-performance-015759152.html

A bowl of quinoa and kale? But probably not. I have no idea....lol. At first I thought it looked like chopped up healthy eats....but it's sitting on a metal grate. it's small compared to his fingers......so I'm going with some fresh weed mixture. The weed I've seen doesn't look like that...but he may have a pot growing at his house or maybe you can buy a blend that looks like that. Hope Javi isn't late for work again in the morning LOL
