Just a comment about adding more "guidelines" to this forum - I do not see any need.
The entire point of a forum is to foster an interesting discussion, and a discussion where everyone says "I agree" is pretty boring.
And this is a forum, not a "fan club." If you want a fan club (100% positive Adam stuff, 24/7), there is his official fan club and a couple unofficial fan clubs on Facebook.

On Adam's career -- I think it is pretty amazing and he would not be where he is without Idol and Queen.
IMO Adam is at his best as a live performer. Not on TV, video, radio, or recorded, but live. I hope that someday he gets the lead in a Broadway musical (although thank goodness he did not do Spiderman).
Idol and QAL have both showcased his incredible, unparalleled talent as a live performer to large audiences. Idol and QAL gave him "fame and fortune."
Now, I believe Adam can do whatever he wants. And he has a career that will last for as long as he wants. Way far back, post Idol, he said what he wanted was longevity. I think he has that.
Regarding alternative histories for Adam's career -- if I could change one thing, it is how his career was "managed" in 2009-early 2010. But we do not get to change history.

I agree that Adam could do more to promote himself and his music on social media -- particularly by putting up more short YouTube videos and then cross-posting them, and posting more frequently.
But he is right to focus on IG vs. Twitter -- at least by the numbers. Instagram is now more important than Twitter. And Twitter is actually declining in use in the U.S. and Globally.
Twitter and Snap are both declining in use, and frequency of use.

Guess I better hurry up with migrating over to Instagram lol - I still find Twitter easier to navigate and more of the content and links I like (news, conversations etc) - guess it's all a learning curve....

Once I got used to IG, I found I liked it better and it is more focused on lifestyle, fashion, music, etc. Less news orientated than Twitter.

I really like IG. I am a very visual person, so I like the fact that I can get a very quick idea about someone or something. And interesting captions are part of the fun Cool also that you can send personal messages as well. I am still on twitter but only recently I realized how much IG is favored over twitter.

Okay if everyone is throwing out a wish list then I guess it is safe for me to give mine, lol. Would love to see Adam get more acting opportunities. I would be fine with a Broadway gig but it is not something I'm craving to see. Maybe a month or two month long residency for his solo work would be nice. Also would like to see him get more judging/mentoring gigs on a more permanent basis. Those shows only film a few months so it would not keep him from recording new music or touring. Love his interviews more when they are about his music and career. Only care about his personal life for as much as he wants to share. Otherwise, I'm just happy that he is happy and in love. And I'm still waiting for one of his beautiful and emotional ballads to be given a chance to connect with more than his fans. I want to see him on tv getting that wow feedback for his vocal abilities and delivery of his work, as he did with "Believe." But he has a great career, solo and with QAL, and it has been going strong for years. And I expect to see him rocking on for many more.
OT: I guess everyone has heard that Levine quit The Voice and has been replaced by Gwen Stefani.

Hadn't heard about Levine leaving the Voice; wasn't his and Blake's "rivalry" a big part of the show?
I only watched the first season, seemed like those two really played off of each other.

It seemed to catch everyone by surprise. They had already announced the coaches for the season as Blake, Kelly, Levine and Legend. So don't know what happened but Blake and Kelly did not know either. No one knows if he was fired or left on his own (or they are not saying). Maybe a mutual decision but it came after they announced they were all returning. Some speculate that is why Gwen got the call because they are ready to start filming. It was so last minute that they needed someone to step in quickly. And she is dating Blake, lol.

I guess my problem has been that each picture someone posts takes up so much of the page, so there is a lot of scrolling for me. Twitter is so compact, you can scroll through lots of unwanted content much faster to find what interests you. But I will start spending more time on Instagram so I can get used to it, seems my kids are posting there more these days too.

Hope Playmobil opens another door or two. The director seems to think he's great. Adam's been really good at just about everything he's done since AI. He is liked and respected by people in the business. That's a very important factor, IMO. I heard that Levine quit The Voice and will now be on that show about songwriters. Can't remember what it's called. There was some sort of kerfluffle with The Voice. Don't recall the details. I don't watch The Voice but my sister does, and she has always liked Levine a lot. Thinks he's a nice guy and all.
