The prime VIP GCF tickets went up to $250 now (from $150 to $199 to $250)... other VIP sections show as sold out.
kpop looking boys group is probably good for attracting some younger audience...
fingers crossed for Adam doing at least Superpower there!

"Believe" earned Adam a lot of recognition. Smart of him to draw attention to it once again as he he will release "Superpower" a week from tomorrow.

Good point made by Larry Flick and the gay community's obsession with Lizzo. So true that they embrace the female divas, even the fat ones, but that they are very picky when it comes to celebrating or even accepting similar types within their own community. There must be some psychological aspect behind it.

I don't connect to Lizzo either...just tried to watch a clip of her singing last night, and only made it for about a minute. I seems like her whole schtick is "I'm fat, deal with it"...doesn't appeal to me, and the whole "bitch" attitude gets old, at least for me. But people seem to be really entranced by her, so good for her I guess. I never seem to be in step with everybody else's musical tastes lol. It's been that way pretty much all my life. I don't connect with her either. But I understand why she is having so much success. Like Lil Naz, she gets a ton of radio play and everyone gets to hear her music. It is hard not to connect, with a large number of people, when you are getting that kind of exposure and major Label push. It has little to do with the music being better than others or someone being bolder. Some are not going to get that kind of radio play even if they stand on their heads and sing, lol. Depending on who you are, it might even hurt you even more to try the schtick that works for others. And for sure, you are not going to get much additional award show exposure and success for your music if only your fans hear and stream your music. I am not a Lizzo or Lil Naz fan, but I would argue that the radio support for them is not random. Lizzo for instance has been on the festival scene for years and she has created a following for herself. She seems to suit the current flavor. No idea about Lol Naz.

Seems a little self defeating in my opinion.

But she has a major label behind her now (Atlantic) so you can't dismiss the importance of that in exposure and radio play for her now. If they are behind you, and willing to work hard for you, that goes a long way in helping radio get on board. Of course, her own efforts play a major part too. But there are many who put in the work but they don't have the big guns helping in a big way. So I was not trying to downplay her hard work which is paying off now. But if she was some indie artist now, I doubt it would be playing out in such a big way tho anything is possible.
