What has just been declared by the fucking monster who masquerades as our president is an abomination. A military state?? Federal troops in every state?? Let the 'freedom fighters' of the Second Amendment point their AK47s at us? In all my 70 years, I have never witnessed a moment such as this. Abomination. I will resist till my dying day. No time for thoughts of beauty and JOY today, dear momtomany. Your words echo the deepest feelings of my heart. Your words are some of the most profound you've ever written. Together, we shall make a better tomorrow for our brothers and sisters all over this land. And, may we have a leader that can lift our sorrows and bring us to a place of dignity and peace once again.

I am so proud of Adam--this courageous man with the most loving heart makes me so thankful to be his fan all these years. This nation needs to make some real changes to be able to live up to its creed that"All men are created equal..."

This is the day I walked up to Adam here in San Diego, before the concert---- he smiled and greeted me, I felt his arm around my shoulder, then there was a flash and I quickly walked away as he was telling me to enjoy the show. It is a total blur because the moments flashed by so quickly and nothing felt real. But I have our picture to look at on my screen saver every day {as well as other places} to reassure me that it wasn't a dream and that it really did happen. Still totally loving this man every day. Thank you for the sweetest memory, sizzling 63 I was travelling that summer with my sons...abandoned them in SF to fly down on my own to see the DelMar show. Such a great time - lots of us had dinner in the grandstand where we could see and hear Adam soundchecking below, as we ate. I met and re-met dozens of wonderful Atoppers but it’s a great regret that I didn't get to meet either of you, lorraine and sizzling63 So very glad to have met the super lovely Lorraine the following year in Vegas (and be treated to tea and cakes!) Hope our paths cross one day sizzling63 - but this Virus is making me wonder how and when we’ll all feel comfortable flying again or if there’ll be any concerts to meet up at in the next year or two. Anyway, here’s hoping.... especially for Adam solo - he deserves his tour with his best ever music! SophieB AAH, so happy to have connected with you in Vegas, dear Sophie. You have brought so much love and light into my life---and into the lives of all who know you. Somehow, somewhere, sometime, we will meet again ... Also , just to add to the favorite Trespassing favorites---I never liked Cuckoo, but Maps is one I love---along with Shady and Underneath.

I am traveling down memory lane today to honor the many fun events that I was lucky to attend during the Trespassing chapter. The Del Mar Fair was one of them. He looks so young in that video, and I love the banter prior to him singing "Chokehold". youtu.be/DZhWUR9NJI0This is the day I walked up to Adam here in San Diego, before the concert---- he smiled and greeted me, I felt his arm around my shoulder, then there was a flash and I quickly walked away as he was telling me to enjoy the show. Ooh, I think this one is my favorite from the series so far... Closer to You (from One World: Together At Home) NO ONE emotes a song like Adam Lambert !!! He lives every lyric with an intensity and passion I have never heard from any other singer in all my life. I noticed this from the first time I heard him on Idol---and he takes my breath away! Closer to You is just another example of his extraordinary gift to be able to allow us to get a glimpse of his soul...

Music Critic for the Houston Chronicle, one of the 10 largest U.S. dailies. I love this music critic, Joey Guerra's description of Adam's voice as "still, a thing of beauty"-and truly, it is. Referring to the rest of that line from John Keats' poem, Adam's voice will be "a joy forever." Makes my heart sing, hearing all these praises of Adam's voice from listeners all around the world. And it's also "a thing of beauty" to see the responses to QAL's wonderful video, dedicated to all the health care workers who are showing COURAGE and dedication to the patients they are tending. I didn't know Roger's daughter was a doctor; what a proud father he must be!

Maybe we don't get as much of a "high profile Adam" as we would wish in these days of quarantine, but when he DOES appear, Adam takes our breath away---and the whole world stops to listen...I, like many, have heard him sing Mad World more times than I can count---and like the first time he sang it on Idol, I felt transfixed to a place of beauty I can hardly take in. Today's version had me in quiet tears ---the sense of loneliness and longing in Adam's voice conveyed what so many of us are experiencing these past months. And through it all-I also hear a sense of hope because of the LOVE humanity has for each other. Thank you Adam, for sharing your angelic voice with the global community.

Love that Seventeen interview! Nice solid questions that he answered perfectly. Interesting that when he was asked where else he might like to live, one of his answers was Barcelona. Hmmmmm. Can't imagine what made him say that. But I think we can guess. And my Lord, he is looking very gorgeous. And so is Sutan. girldrummer---I remember when Adam was asked this question ,years ago, before he met Javi, he said he would love to live in Amsterdam or Barcelona.Having been to Barcelona, I can totally understand Adam's choice. The city was a surprise enchantment for me---breathtakingly beautiful Gaudi architecture, lovely outdoor cafes everywhere ,the scent of olive oil greeting me each morning, Picasso Museum, Olympic stadium, cobble stone streets juxtaposed to the wide modern streets with window shop displays of leather boots---I could go on and on. That time in Barcelona stays with me still...
