at c. 35 seconds...’Queen now fronted by American Adam Lambert but that hasn’t stopped a huge turnout for tonight’!Well, he’s off my Christmas List! @sophie You always have a way of bringing LIGHT and LAUGHTER to a situation that initially leaves me frustrated--and frankly, pissed! Now, when I think of this reporter's inept comment, instead of feeling angry all over again---all I can think of is him being crossed off your Christmas list! You are a gem!

Brilliant set from QAL. Adams voice was like a seagull filling the skies. Powerful and full of richness. Great move starting with BR. And great ending with WATC and WWRY. Same set from live aid in 1985. 3ku1 So poetic---I can't wait to hear the QAL set.

I really envy all of you who are going to Vegas. I would have jumped on that so fast but my DH is in stage 4 lung cancer and not doing all that well so I'm missing Adam's performance for the 1st time. Will be hoping for lots of videos. gypsyladee I'm so sorry about your husband and I wish you much love and strength during this difficult time. May Adam's light and love help give you solace and comfort---

I have to agree that the EMA’s were the beginning of all the magic—- all the POSSIBILITIES of all that was to come. Standing there in the shadows, no introduction needed—- that awesome air of mystery... But I have to say it was Kiev— Adam standing there in front of the masses on that magical night! To this day, when I ache to hear his voice, I still go back to that concert and listen to Adam duet with Roger—-Under Pressure—- and marvel again at his WHY, cascading across the multitude as they joined in. I had never heard such an extended note so beautifully expressed in all my life.
On a personal note, I have to say that the night in Morongo was absolutely unforgettable. All in white, the mysterious soft rainfall in the desert. He looked and sounded so beautiful- took my breath away. Wicked Game-OMG And to think I almost didn’t go that night!!!!

As the decade comes to an end.... What is your favorite Adam moment? 12.26.19 by Q3 It's odd, the decade will end* in a few days without much fanfare. But for me, the 2010's were the decade of Adam. * Yes, I know that mathematicians and historians will argue that the decade ends on December 31, 2020 (there is no year 0 on the European/Wesstern calendars). I get it. But according to one poll, the majority (65%) of Americans say the decade ends on Dec. 31, 2019, and the start of a new decade begins on Jan. 1, 2020. So, I'm going with that. You know, the 60's, 70's, 80's -- and soon, the 20's).
So what is your nomination for the top Adam moment of the nameless decade from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2019?
I still have not decided what mine is but I promise to post it tomorrow.
In the meantime, post yours and we'll see what the ultimate winning pick is.

Here is my "Celebrity Story" --kind of. It doesn't involve an actual encounter personally, although it is a story, nonetheless, and one that has been retold throughout the decades of our marriage, DH and I were married for almost a year and we were still living in New York;he was a grad student, driving his cab part-time in NYC and I was still teaching in Brooklyn. I came home from work to find him tired and haggard after his long day driving around the city. The first thing he said to me when I walked in the door,"You will never guess who I picked up in my cab today?" Without skipping a beat,{I asked him no questions} I answered,"Ethel Kennedy?" {the widow of Robert Kennedy.} Out of a city of 8 million people, with a considerable percentage of celebrities,he stood there, staring at me -totally flabbergasted! Me? I don't think too much about it-except when DH decides to tell the story to someone new... Yo ur story requires this :D www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObpcGNCU944 LindaG23 Ha Ha ---I'm taking my bow...
