Morning musings: Jablea, that Clark Gable photo you posted was so spot on! Thanks for posting it. I bet that was exactly the look he was going for. Bonus, Judy Garland. I would give almost anything to have seen her 1961 Carnegie Hall appearance in person. Talk about feeling the love flow between a performer and the audience. I don't know if there is any footage of that, but here is The Man That Got Away from A Star is Born. Love her. It made me laugh to think of how quickly that Jeopardy buzzer would have been pressed if any of those contestants had been a Glambert. And, to repeat, thanks to Q3 and all you lovely people who have provided such a great ride these last 9 years. Still adore him. If I could add songs for the next incarnation of QAL, this would be at the top of the list. That note at ~4:03 is one of the loveliest I have ever heard him sing. Also

Profanity warning.
Shut the fuck up, Piers. You are the interviewER, not the interviewEE.
Interminably long questions questions gobbling up the time from the interviewEE drive me mad.
Plus, Piers, you suck for such a wide variety of reasons I can't even comprehend the length of the list.
Priggish, self satisfied, pursed mouthed, ignorant, teenie weenied judgmental fame whore.
In my opinion.
But as always, Adam was gorgeous, gracious and well spoken. Love him.

Old board joke, someone once tried to claim that the glambulge was "just a crease." Since proven untrue many times over.

"Improves the landscape."
Boy do I appreciate following a literate, well spoken, thoughtful celebrity.
Also, those plaid pants? Not a crease in them.

Where's Adam? lol. Wonder if he'll go home or elsewhere until next weekend's shows. http://instagr.am/p/Bng-IBVhdcR Gah, how much do I adore this man I have never met. The turquoise shorts? Priceless. Dr Brian May, you are one of a kind.

Thanks for posting that video, bamafan. I will never not love the maturity and graciousness of Adam on stage. Dr Brian May? Guitar? No one is more rapt than Adam, standing behind or off to the side. Under Pressure? Who is most engaged with Roger and his drumming and singing, having a ball, enjoying? Joy Boy. Stopping his dramatic entrance to recognize Spike? Of course he does. And I believe it is part intentional, but mostly just his heartfelt recognition that it takes a village. And Roger watching, probably having no idea where Adam was going with his riffing at the end? (Loved that ending, btw). Look at his face, watching Adam. Priceless. Remember when Kara went on and on about Alison and Adam's duet? That's how you do it, making each other better. Adam may have brought the vocal skill that Brian and Roger were looking for, but the combination of the three of them is pure magic. Shows what music can be, imo, with musicians at the top of their field and at the apex of their talent. And with such a rich, diverse musical history.

Yes, Adam. I knew you would make Heartbreak Hotel your own. Really hearing it tonight.
