Thanks for this. I dl-ed the 2nd one with the interview - it is really great, wonderful sound as well. It was a spectacular performance, I will be rewatching it for many years! So happy they got to have this moment on a huge stage, in front of millions of people. Totally-deserved too.
And while I'm preaching to the choir, still I have to say - nobody sings (or has ever sung) We Are the Champions better than Adam Lambert! Like it was always meant for him...

A gig for the ages! I truly enjoyed last night's performance of Queen + Adam Lambert. What a grand opening, and they did an amazing job!

Didn't they say that StarStruck was only going to be about 6 episodes? That's pretty short for as much press as they are getting. In the UK most series are 6 episodes long, so it would not be unusual.

For those who know a bit about music theory or are interested to see how exactly "Believe" was changed from original to Adam's version, this guy gives a pretty thorough analysis. He talks mostly about the arrangement, but he also analyzes the chords that Adam is singing. Plus, he promised to do another video breaking down Adam's voice (not sure of what performance, there are so many good ones to choose from). He definitely appreciates Adam Lambert's incredible vocal ability. youtu.be/ujdmR-CQxqc

Hi, everyone. Since it's a slow day, and the topic still seems to be The Show Must Go On, I thought I'd share one of my favourite performances of that song he has ever done - it was for the BBC New Year's Eve Concert. The video of that show "Queen + Adam Lambert Rock Big Ben Live" has been taken down from Youtube so many times since 2015, but here it has cropped up again, so if you have an hour to spare, here you go: youtu.be/GKw7geOnr04I have a downloaded version which I watch from time to time, as it is one of my favourite QAL shows/ performances. The UK got wild for Adam Lambert after that; wasn't he among the top trending topics and most searched names on the 1st January? 😆 crazy But it was just like Brian May had said in an interview beforehand, that after that show everyone would know who's Adam Lambert? and why's he singing with Queen? - and he was right! Everybody got it after that.

Hello, everyone, by the way! I've been away from the forum for a while, though sort of keeping track of what's up with Adam's schedule, etc. I moved yet again, lol. I can't tell how many times that is now. Got a new job, a new place in a different city. So, yeah, lots of changes, but it's all for the better. Seeing that Darren Criss and Adam Lambert did a song together was a lovely surprise, I watched Glee and really liked Darren's character. The two of them didn't really get to do a song together in that show, but I think they were the best (male) singers (along with Chris Colfer, though he has a very specific voice, as a countertenor) and both are so great at acting through singing - I only heard a snippet of the Christmas song they did, but it definitely has that feel to me of a scene from a movie or a show, and as they are singing, they are telling a story...

I am really looking forward to watching A Tale Dark and Grimm - I love fairy tales and their reimaginings.
As for the Ellen show, I watched it - it wasn't just the game. First, Twitch introduced Adam as the judge on Clash of the Cover Bands and they showed a clip of him judging a U2 cover band and giving them some advice. He was very good, just from that short clip I think people could already get a sense of the kind of comments he would make. Of course, I remember him as a judge on X-factor Australia, so I know he is going to do a great job and always have something insightful and pertinent to say... Then, on Ellen show, they had a sit-down interview, reminisced a bit about when Adam was on Ellen the first time, it was one of his first interviews and this is apparently his 10th time on the show. There was promo for Clash of the Cover Bands and for Adam's Vegas shows and some talk about his Halloween costumes in the past (they showed some pictures). After the break, they played the game where he had to sing celebrity tweets in different music styles: pop, country, opera, funk. I thought the opera one was incredible, actually, especially for an improv situation! But the country and the funk ones were really good as well - he can really sing any style.

Whoever wrote that song must have done so with Adam in mind. Not many pop singers today could handle it, much less Kill it as he does. Lightning fast lyrics, a melody that bounces up and down and all around, wide range, fast tempo, punch and vigor. A great teaching song that, coincidently, showcases Adam's mega talent. Such fun! Writers of the "Frozen" songs! (which I love, btw) Yeah, it is actually quite catchy, considering the kind of material they had to tackle. And Adam's voice is amazing on the track of course
