Looks like Legendary season 2 will drop one episode each Thursday. I think there are 10 episodes. I bet Adam will be on towards the finale...but I know nothing...lol Thanks for the info! I'll be watching it all, I want to see the full competition. For some shows it's ok I guess to only watch one or two episodes here or there, but this kind of thing really requires you to watch from start to finish in order to get to know the contestants and their houses. I actually credit Adam for getting me into Drag Race, when he was a guest judge for the Season 6 premiere, I started watching and continued the whole season. It was one of the best seasons. Then I went back and watched Seasons 4 and 5, which were also incredible. In fact, those 3 are still my favourite seasons, though there were some other great moments in later seasons, as well as in Season 3 which Raja won (Sutan, Adam's good friend). I stopped watching after All Stars 3, and haven't really been able to get back into it, but I really enjoyed the show before and I'm glad Adam "introduced" me to it. (I mean, I knew about that show before he was a guest judge, but I wasn't following it. Like I said, for these kinds of shows, you really have to watch from the beginning of a season to get a real sense of all the contestants, and watch their journey unfold.)

Also, isn't it amazing when you discover a new show because an actor/personality that you love has a guest role in it. There are so many shows and movies that I only watch because there's an appearance by somebody I like, and I end up being impressed. These competition shows sure know what they are doing when they bring in many different guest judges. Maybe a lot of Glamberts will watch Legendary for the first time just because of Adam Lambert's stint as guest judge. I didn't even know about this show, even though I used to love RuPaul's Drag Race, and I now love Pose, and I saw the documentary Paris is Burning, so I really enjoy watching that whole ballroom, drag, vogueing culture. There are just so many shows, so many platforms, streaming services, etc. and I don't really watch TV (only on my computer), so somehow I missed this entirely.

Hey, everyone, I haven't been here in a while. I hope you are all doing well!
Since I saw somewhere online that Adam will be a guest judge on Legendary, I looked into that show and it sounds amazing. I'm now so sorry I didn't even know about this show, because I would have totally watched the first season too. I found a way to get my eyeballs on the first three episodes of the second season (it's for research purposes, ok? Lol) and I'll be looking forward to all the others - I want to watch the whole season, including Adam's episode of course. So I was wondering if people here, who have HBO max and have access to their schedule, know when/which days the new episodes get posted. Is it daily or weekly or idk randomly? First 3 eps at once is not unusual, but that doesn't tell me when to check for a new episode...

I watched both birthday concerts - they were fabulous. I think I maybe like the first one more, but it's hard to say why. Maybe it was just because it was the first. There were definitely moments and songs in the second concert that were even better than the first. I liked both of his outfits. The lightning and camera work seemed better for the second. The sound was great throughout both. I especially enjoyed New Eyes, Comin in Hot and Love Don't from "Velvet" album, as well as the opener Stranger You Are. Those are now my favourites, lol (it changes). Hearing If I Had You in the new arrangement was really special, and I loved the original The Original High - I am glad we have the other version that he did on the TOH tour, but I thought the lyrics and the vibe of this version were vastly superior to what the Max Martin team ended up putting together for the official release. How do you take an A+++ song and make it just A? This is only my opinion, of course, and only after hearing the song twice sung live in concert. Adam Lambert live is truly always sooo much better than the recordings.
Anyway, I'm really happy the concerts are available on youtube or other places, this community is wonderful when it comes to getting all the performances and other content. I'm sure thousands and thousands of people watched the concerts live, but this way perhaps even more people can enjoy. Both concerts were so amazing!
Btw, I love this band too. The guitarist should be a superstar in her own right. She's very good!

What an interesting song. The lyrics are amazing, I can see why Adam Lambert wanted to sing it. And with his outfit, the glam, the vocals, it all really worked.
Starman (lyrics)
Didn't know what time it was the lights were low I leaned back on my radio Some cat was layin' down some rock 'n' roll Then the loud sound did seem to fade Came back like a slow voice on a wave of phase That weren't no DJ that was hazy cosmic jive
There's a starman waiting in the sky He'd like to come and meet us But he thinks he'd blow our minds There's a starman waiting in the sky He's told us not to blow it 'Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
And he told me: Let the children lose it Let the children use it Let all the children boogie
I had to phone someone so I picked on you Hey, that's far out so you heard him too Switch on the TV we may pick him up on channel two Look out your window I can see his light If we can sparkle he may land tonight Don't tell your poppa or he'll get us locked up in fright
There's a starman waiting in the sky He'd like to come and meet us But he thinks he'd blow our minds There's a starman waiting in the sky He's told us not to blow it 'Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
And he told me: Let the children lose it Let the children use it Let all the children boogie

All the best and happy & healthy 2021!!
I am looking forward to Ratatouille, it looks super fun, and then the Bowie tribute! Definitely very glad to see that Adam is keeping busy and doing all kinds of performances.
Thank you all the moderators and posters on Adamtopia, I like checking in - you always provide a nice dose of joy, love of music and admiration for the best singer ever, Adam Lambert!

Forgot to mention: it's so exciting to see how much press the Rattatouille Musical is getting! And even though Adam has a small role, he is in practically every headline, good exposure for him. I'm really looking forward to hearing his song (or songs), I know it's going to be fantastic!

I'm taking on the challenge, Q3!
The best things that happened to me in 2020:
1) personal - at the end of January, right before my birthday I downloaded Duolingo app and started learning Spanish (I was supposed to go to Spain in September, but that was cancelled, never mind), and later I also started learning Welsh. Both of those things have given me so much joy. I've been learning and improving every day. I'm almost at the 365-day streak!
2) The release of Velvet!!
3) The release of Live Around the World!
4) Adam Lambert's performance of "On the Moon" on Late Late Show with James Corden
5) The collab with Cynthia Erivo: "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)"
6) The collab with Brian May and Roger Taylor on Instagram: "You are the Champions"
7) The performance of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" for that Disney show
There were other great performances and moments, but I would rank these as my Top 7 haha

Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it today!
I really love Adam's Christmas songs: "Please Come Home for Christmas", and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" - I listen to them often!
Interesting news about Brian and Roger of Queen - they'll be performing with a Japanese musician for Japanese TV on New Year's Eve. I wonder what that's all about... a prerecorded virtual thing probably, I doubt they'll be flying to Japan.
So lovely to see the Feel Something Foundation helping out the LA LGBTQ center, it's a great cause.
Looking forward to the David Bowie tribute concert, but before then I wonder what Adam Lambert has in store for us next? Will he do something for New Year's?
