OMG that video is so fantastic-- I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the deeper interpretations, love just watching how gorgeous all three Adams are. Dark Adam is so bad, but I can't tear my eyes away-- tormented and angry and destructive, he mocks Light Adam but he keeps watching him, putting on a show for him. Everything on that side is cold and sharp and dark. No wonder he's miserable, lol. And Light Adam is nice and sweet but almost ridiculously so. Drinking tea and sweeping with his silly broom and meditating-- it's just too perfect. No wonder Dark Adam mocks him and refuses to come over. But neither of them are satisfied and both of them are trapped in these small rooms with a shared oxygen supply. I love the symbolism of the pomegranate. The story of Persephone is partly about finding balance, but in this video, Dark Adam seems to destroy that possibility. He doesn't seem to care that the fire he creates will destroy him. It's only when he realizes it's killing Light Adam that he has a moment of compassion. And in a final act of destruction, he breaks the glass wall that separates them. I think it's meaningful that it's Dark Adam that brings them together. You can't "master" or overcome the dark side by sheer will-- the dark side must be acknowledged and accepted. And finally Balanced Adam is out walking free! And walking past a No Trespassing zone-- ready to go wherever he wants to go-- bringing his whole self to the journey. I'm totally in love with this vid. My favorite of all of them, and it really makes me love the song more. I'm so happy!!!! Thank you, noangel, for a really great interpretation of the video. I am going to use your thoughts (with credit to you) as one way of interpreting the video - I have a huge extended base of family and friends who are on board with me, and on occasion I send them an "Adam newsletter with "all things Adam". I have had numerous texts from my kids and extended family this morning asking my thoughts on Adam's newest treasure. I told them I loved it since first watch at 1:00 a.m. to which they basically replied - well we watched it about 500 less times, but love it anyway! :-) love to all!

Just noticed that the Charity:Water total had been stalled for awhile, so I made a donation. If anyone else wants to boost it a bit, here's the link again: Adam's Charity:Water PageThanks for the reminder, murly - haven't taken a moment to contribute yet.

And we, most often, don't really have those extra $$ to gift, like we often don't have the time to throw starfish back into the sea each morning (smile).

Did anyone ever see the documentary / film (used in corporate America a lot in the 90's) that included a story about the man who would go out to the seashore each day and lovingly throw starfish that had washed up on the sand back into the ocean? Someone commented to the man (after gazing at the hundreds of starfish on the shore) "You'll never be able to make a difference for all those starfish" and the man answered as he threw another starfish back out to sea - "made a difference for that one, didn't I?"
That is how I think of gifting Adam's music. Fans have gifted (as it turns out) hundreds and hundreds of Adam's CDs and also DVDs to the 1n10 youth, soldiers through the Sister Soldier Project, Music Can Cure, the "Tell a Stranger They Are Beautiful" project (which never quite took off, smile) and other wonderful nonprofits. Maybe FYE is not at platinum, or Adam's singles are not at #1 (yet) but the gifts of Adam's music have touched real lives. So every time I gift to someone, I quietly say to myself "Adam's music makes a difference for that person".
Happy Birthday and love to a beautiful person in the universe, Adam Lambert. (and love to all of you, too)
