No Angel Thank you for this beautifully written reminder for all. Loved it! That little critical, reactive voice in our head needs to be put in check regularly. Not always easy. But always important for the greater cause. Yes to pro-activity (Adam Lambert's nondefensive style: ignore the negative and spread the positivity) rather than re-activity! : ) I loved NoAngel's post also, as usual. The "staying positive" message is why I love using my "excess Adam energy" on volunteering with the 1n10 youth. Many of Adam's global fans are now gifting and volunteering in different ways for 1n10 all year through - here are some highlights from fans related to 1n10 and Adam from 2011 (We came up with the name for such efforts "Adam Lambert Inspired Volunteers Everywhere" - A.L.I.V.E.) Fans globally contributed to the 1n10 fundraising brunch (we had 5 Adam Lambert Tables, the Adam Lambert Gift basket and so many donations for the silent auction - raised close to $7000 for the youth) Fans sent hundreds of FYE and Glam Nation DVD to the youth and the overflow were shared with new Adam fans (120 were given out to the overall community at the Brunch - including many gay men who had not yet tapped into the Adam love) :-) Walked with the youth in the Gay Pride Parade We walked with 1n10 in the AIDS Walk and we have a really cool sign with the Adam team name as a result :-) Helped with the cooking for the Thanksgiving Dinner for the youth (many of the youth are homeless or in transitional living). Made dozens of cookies for the Halloween parties for the youth (my daughter and her friends) Fans from Adamtopia donated to 1n10's unique OUTdoors! Camp - one of a couple of gay youth camps in the world! (thank you again, dear friends) An Adamtopia fan contributed 3 of the Adam peace pendants for the upcoming auction (I volunteer on the 1n10 fundraising committee - we are trying to figure out how to get the "biggest bang for the buck" from wilkie's kindness. (might auction one of the pendants on the 1n10 website). My son has an Oscar-fest each year - he raised over $250 for 1n10 in the process (and he is asking me where we are going to meet this year for Adam's concerts - we met in Charlotte last time) Adopted a 1n10 youth for the holiday celebrations. And just today I sent a tweet to see if any of the Adam fans globally would like to contribute to the Adam Fan Basket for the upcoming Feb 26 Brunch - and I am getting many responses in just one hour. If you can, please retweet my two tweets (one has a pic that shows last years Adam Fan Basket and another lists example of the gifted items). A retweet would be greatly appreciated (and totally in line with NoAngels post). I am gracefuladam on twitter. Love to all! p.s. I always feel a little guilty about not contributing more to the dialogue here - I have spoken about this before. But I read every word and appreciate every dynamic. And, I always feel a bit depressed when gelly says she is heading to bed for the night. Nothing seems right with the world for a few moments.

i trained and worked as an artificial insemenator with the scottish milk marketing board ,ha many years ago ,i did this work for 5 years ,the semen was kept it tanks of liquid nitrogen ,in straws made of plastic ,we would take out the straw and put it in our teeth so it would thaw with our breath whilst we prepared the gun ,some of the older semen that had been stored a while ,usually for specialist breeders would be in a wider straw ,when held between the teeth they would sometimes split, giving us a rather nasty mouthfull The dad of a friend of my son's earned his Ph.D. in this field! So, for many years, we were treated to many lengthy discussions related to these "procedures" and the biology of it all - I think his area of focus was sheep :-) I forgot how we got on this topic, but fairly certain it is not the subject of one of Adam's new singles.

I am playing Adam's beautiful music snippet for everyone I know - it's loved by all, all ages and stages. Without prompting one comment was - perfect for radio. :-)
And everyone loves the artwork too. But of course. Our family is very opinionated, but when it comes to Adam there is only one opinion. He is perfect in every way.

Hi to all, Thanks for the birthday wishes and happy b-day to all the co-celebrants. In honor of everyone at Adamtopia, I just made a donation to 1n10 and the awesome youth they serve. Of course, thanks to all of Adam's fans, the young people have received not only individual FYE CD's but ongoing donations and acts of love. Adam's fans are featured on home page article in left hand column link www.1n10.org/The donation I made on your behalf will enable 2 youths to attend and successfully complete the Sources of Strength Peer Leader suicide prevention training program. So sincere thanks for all you do - couldn't get through a day without you (or a minute without Adam - smile). mg

I say a prayer for it every morning - take care of our health so we can live as long as possible to watch every moment shared of this amazing and beautiful human being...the most loved, humble and talented person extraordinaire, Adam Lambert. I love Adam!

I wanted to share a great experience from last weekend, and to thank so many of you for your kind support.
Last weekend, the growing group of volunteers to 1n10 (the nonprofit that supports LGBTQ youth) walked in the AIDS Walk. I've mentioned before that we have developed a team name Adam Lambert Inspired Volunteerism Everywhere (A.L.I.V.E.). We now have a large sign with the name of the team that was provided by the Walk organizers.
After the Walk - our team name was mentioned from the main stage and all the 1n10 staff were so happy. They feel such a bond with Adam's fans now (and of course Adam).
Also, since I volunteer on a couple of 1n10 fundraising committees, I can report that there is always a lot of "Adam fan love" to go around. I have thanked a few people on our site previously that acknowledged donating to the OUTDoors Camp held in Sept. Kado (the Camp Director) expressed how much the extra support meant to the kids, who flew in from all over the country for this very unique camp.
One ATOP member I did not thank is wilkie who gifted 3 of Adam's peace pendants to the youth. The 1n10 committee will come up with a cool idea on how to award one of the pendants to the youth, and then possibly use the other pendants as auction items for the 2012 brunch. The goal is to get a bigger drop in center for the youth. So, thank you wilkie and everyone else for helping the goal move forward.
Also, fans in other states are asking for info on how we got our team going and for some of the materials (which we are happily sharing). This Adam Inspired Volunteerism process is intended to "unfold". :-)
Just one other quick thing we are doing this month - there is a large diversity conference being held on Oct 19 with large and small companies participating. 1n10 will have a booth and will be giving out some of the remaining FYE CDs for prizes. So, Adam's CD will be announced each time some one wins that particular door prize throughout the day. To me, the joy in life is connecting wonderful people in the universe in a variety of ways.
Anyway, bottom line is that you are loved by a group of staff and young people that you may never meet, but they love and appreciate all of you nonetheless!

I am on twitter but still don't know how to send a twitter message direct to Adam like I here so many people doing and also how to look at the messages people send him. Of course I'm only talking about the public stuff, I'm no stalker ;D Hi I like tweetgrid.com go to that site, click on the 1x1 grid, put @adamlambert in the gray bar and then click search. You will be able to see all of the tweets with @adamlambert - when you click on his name in any of the tweets, it will take you to the tweets that he tweeted. Hope that makes sense!
