Well just on accident really, i was searching for people who sing covers on youtube and somehow i stumbled on a young adam singing a cover on upright cabaret and immediately i was in awe of his talent. And i have followed him through his career and have been a fan ever since. Aww nice! I found him in a somewhat similar fashion but it was a Zodiac Show video for me.

hi, are there any VIP ultimate on stage tickets being sold in presales, because i joined the mailing list and still haven't got an email fort the Antwerp Belgium show. And would like to buy a VIP ultimate on stage experience for sure. A very big fan of Adam's for almost 10 years now even before the start of american idol. I think im even gonna call the ticketservice today, to see if i can't reserve a ticket before the general sale tomorrow, that is how stressed i am right now. Hey nice to see another fan that "discovered" Adam before Idol aired! I still remember so clearly watching his audition city episode wondering if they would show his audition.

I don't have Spotify--I generally listen to music on iTunes--but would that be a little bit of help if I listened to his music on Spotify, instead? Is that something industry people pay attention to? I'm not familiar with it, but I'm happy to use the best platform that will do some small part in helping him get more exposure, if those "views" or "streams" or whatever it's called are recorded and make a difference somehow. streaming numbers do help somewhat, but from what I learned yesterday while bigger numbers on spotify are nice it doesn't mean much to promoters and agents. This is only in regards to those that decide who to book for shows and which locations artists go to on tour so maybe it means something more in other parts of the industry? I'm sure there's someone else on here more familiar with that area.

Thanks so much for this article. The best I have seen about this in a long time. I just roll my eyes when someone says he just needs to write a hit as if all the US hits are good or better than his work. Or as if he has a say is what gets played. They play a few artists with an extreme number of spins and the others get crumbs. Of course the ones with massive radio play are going to get the hits, the award show performances and the bigger tours because of the exposure. "When payola enters the picture, the record label is deciding which artists will fail and which will succeed. In other words, the playing field is no longer level." "The public does not get to hear artists whose labels can't afford to pay off the DJ, or whose label refuses to engage in the practice." "It's bad for radio, because it makes radio homogenous. People turn off when the same old song is on every station." Their are alot of quality pop music on the charts atm. Not all labels do payola. I have no idea if WBR do. But I don't think that is the only factor to why Adam has other then GT not had a hit. Don't think WBR does. At least they don't for Linkin Park and their related solo projects. Of course my only connection with the label is as a volunteer streetteamer so they don't always tell us everything that goes on behind the scenes lol

Not Adam related so hopefully this is okay to post, but Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park held an IG Live today where he went into detail on what fans can do to help tour promoters and agents become interested in booking artists for shows, etc. I don't think it's anything we didn't already know, but thought some Adam fans might find it interesting to hear from another musician. Mostly found it interesting that while big streaming numbers on Spotify is nice they don't really look at it nearly as much as I would have thought. Starts about 6 minutes in www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFZG_AtWzIIJust don't go too crazy in the "bugging" of people to the point of being annoying lol

I like Justin. But I liked Gagas half time show better last year. More creative. I love Gaga too. Not sure about the Prince thing. Prince from what I have read. Was never a fan of Holograms. So I bet his fans are not happy Grew up in Minnesota and was pretty much raised on Prince. Hate the idea of holograms. Luckily Justin did not use a hologram. Thought it was the perfect tribute to our hometown hero.

C'mon! Kris Allen tours. Almost every artists tours, if they want to. As far as no Trespassing tour..... I 100% believe that was because he had already split with RCA. The album/era was dead. Some countries got a Trespassing tour, just not the US. We only got holiday radio shows. We had a few summer radio shows as well. May not have been an official "tour" but the US definitely had chances to see him during the Trespassing era.

I'm also "bored" of QAL so to speak, but I already figured his solo album wouldn't be ready for release until late summer or early fall anyway so let Adam do his Queen thing in the meantime. Hey! OT, but just noticed your username. I am a HUGE Linkin Park fan. Still so sad about Chester Aww yay another fan of both of my faves! It's been a rough six months in the Linkin Park Family. Hard to lose someone as incredible as Chester. He was the voice of a generation.

Nope, not the only one. Lather, Rinse, Repeat, Repeat. As much as I like Queen’s music, the legacy issue of playing the same basic set for every tour has worn thin. I’m so ready for new. Adam music. Yeah I am happy for the folks here who get to see them. And I am really excited too see Adam and Queen in 2 weeks. But as far as more dates go. My point of view, is it is wearing thin a bit. Same set, same arrangements. Their is the danger of too much of a good thing. Over Saturation is a real danger. And how well these Queen Dates conflict with his album? OR Solo Promo rollout this year? Well the album get pushed back? Hardly alot of time for promo. Maybe 2 months. Well see. Even before these new dates were announced I wasn't expecting the new album until the fall, so I don't think anything is going to be pushed back. Queen until mid July, start solo promo in August with album in September or October?
