I had no idea who he was then - he did do a great job with his song - but now I know him because I'm watching Kim's Convenience Store on Netflix He was also one of the Ken's in the Barbie movie.

Tracks of my tears was my favorite...have listened to that song so many times...and he looked gorgeous. I wouldn't really call Mad World a favorite, not really sure why it's ranked as the pinnacle of his AI performances. I think it was the staging and lighting -- not just the singing. Adam's theatre background really helped him with his performances. He broke the mold. Before him, the contestants pretty well just stood at a mic and sang their songs.

Thanks Holst for bringing that reaction video here. I often don't watch them unless someone says the reactor has something interesting to say.

Totally agree that it was his AMA performance that really messed up his career. Also the music business is notorious for moving on quickly to the next new best thing! There are an awful lot of one hit wonders out there!

I only look at his Instagram and what gets brought here. What I was suggesting is probably more an Instagram kind of activity. Not easy being a celebrity these days! It doesn't help that I think Adam is kindof bad at picking his own content such as when he does a "live" and then answers questions that come up on the screen. He picks the most redundant questions so often instead of having pre-picked or having someone feed questions that we don't already know. I feel like we have had great suggestions over the years so it's not bad that he's asking the audience for ideas but maybe it's not the right audience to ask. I actually think that he likes to keep his private life private and doesn't really want his fans to know a lot of his personal life. So even what I suggested might be too revealing about his inner likes and thoughts. But it would be interesting ... and I would definitely read it!! LOL

Adam asked the other day what he should do on social media. I have often thought that it would be interesting if he posted small videos with him commenting on things and places he has seen/experienced that day. He does this very occasionally, but I think he could make more of a habit of it. It would be a way for fans to get to know him better and just a fun way to connect to his world. It can be: a piece of art or sculpture he has seen; something in nature; items in a shop that caught his eye; a nice meal or cool decor in a restaurant; an interesting building, etc. His comments as to why something caught his attention enough to share would be very insightful. Plus I love to hear Adam talk! LOL I think his social media director needs to give him more direction. The problem in Glambert land is that we follow him to each new platform. It's great to have that fan base but it's harder to divide which type of posts go where or to have some platform specific stans. I'm sure it feels to him that he has to put out five different kinds on content but it's to the same fans so why does he need to do it more than once? (My opinion only probably formed because I just see what's posted here and so I mostly see OG glamberts.) Facebook - 4.7M Followers - >5000 likes & 750-2000 comments per post Instagram - 1.8M Followers - between 10,000 - 40,000 likes & comments 500-1500 Twitter - 2.2M Followers - 1000-2000 likes & 50-200 comments TikTok - 1M Followers - 40,000 - 500,000 likes & 50-1000 comments He hasn't been posting much on TikTok, he did more during Queen, so that's where his manager is pushing him because the audience is huge but engagement lower than it should be. And the content is completely different from the other three platforms, he needs 10 second short vids. So far it's mostly of him acting silly. I only look at his Instagram and what gets brought here. What I was suggesting is probably more an Instagram kind of activity. Not easy being a celebrity these days!

And one last thing if you don't want to watch. He did leave The Wild because of creative differences with the other two investors. Roger and Serena are great -- even though he accidentally called Roger Brian! LOL

Just watched the first bit and there's new info! Adam is off the anti-depressant and has been taking Mounjaro for the last number of months and has lost a bunch of weight. Sounds like his blood sugar levels were not good and the doctor recommended it. He watched the Oprah special about weight loss last night and he chatted about his eating habits.
So that was an interesting live chat.

For the first time ever, I just happened upon Adam live on Instagram! I'm not sure when it started but he looked great -- all made up for TV and behind a filter. LOL. So the musical is still in the works and he is listening to lots of electronic music now. Wet Dream is just something he was excited about and wanted to share and isn't really being promoted. He says there are good things coming this year. YAY
