My local newspaper had the same article as above, but the longer version that goes on to quote what Roger and Adam had to say. Always love to see Adam's name in print here!

Starting a few weeks ago, I can't seem to stay logged in to Adamtopia ... I went for years never having to re-enter a password, now I have to do it every time I come here. Has anyone else encountered this problem? No.....I stay logged in all the time....on a PC with Chrome. I don't even remember my password...lol. I hope that doesn't start happening to me. I'm on a PC with Chrome too. Every once in a while I get logged out by some mysterious force or gamma rays or ???, but the site seems to know my password and let's me back in quite easily. Hope you solve your problem.

Wow - talk about coverage! Thanks so much for bringing all this good stuff over, pi! I know, right?? There started to be so many that I stopped bringing everything over, but tried to bring the accounts with lots of followers or interest. You're welcome! Wow, talk about worldwide coverage!! Thanks pi for keeping us informed.

We loved the socially distanced Idol show the other day, and we too were impressed how well it was executed. Thanks to your article I understand a bit better now why it worked out so well, given the amount of tech help that each contestant received from the distance. I really enjoyed the rather "stripped down" show and I did not miss the "production" aspect at all, as I got a much better understanding of each artist and where they are coming from in terms of surroundings and in general. The Canadian girl is fantastic, and she is so young!! Her performance on the porch in front of the lake with the mountains in the background was incredible and I almost think that there was no need for her to even dress up, given the setting. I wish her luck. I haven't voted since Adam and typically we watch the show late when the voting is already over, but I will try to throw in some votes for her if she makes it to the top 10. My favorite this season, and for me a standout amongst the many young female vocal powerhouses, is Dillon. I can't believe I am saying this as he is another white guy with guitar. But he seems genuine, well spoken, and authentic, and somehow I feel really captivated by his performances. How does this relate to Adam? I understand that he loves a good production, but he also mentioned not too long ago that the "Velvet" tour would be more laid back with the feel of being in a lounge, so I think he too should be able to really deliver some musical gems from home, if he wanted. He doesn't play the guitar but his voice does stand on its own. I can imagine that he must have given it some thought, given the current outlook. Our governor Newsom just released the 4 stages toward "opening up" California again - we are only in stage1 at this point and still sheltering throughout May, with stage4 and live concerts the final goal and projected to be "months" away (duh) - so my wish is for Adam to give us "something" from the comfort of his home or at some point from an intimate setting that allows for social distancing. It sure looks like it can be done successfully, if there's interest. May be Adam will surprise us, regardless if Vegas in October will happen. I realize that this must be a tough time for him too. I like Dillon too. Of course, he has the whole redemption story that tugs at heartstrings! I do worry though that getting back into the entertainment industry might derail his recovery. I think that industry is particularly difficult for people with addiction issues. It is going to be interesting to see who makes top 10. I've noticed that contestants who come from smaller communities are able to rally the hometown crowd for votes. It's not really fair for the big city contestants, but ...

This is off topic, but I watched American Idol top 20 last night -- everyone in their homes -- contestants using equipment provided by Idol -- even had a physically distanced live band and backup singers. I was impressed with the quality of the performances and singing under the circumstances. I thought just about everyone sounded really good. Considering, they didn't have a live audience and weren't really able to move much, the contestants did really well. Amazing what technology can do these days.

It's going to be fun to watch this auction of stage clothes. I was just looking at the selection and trying to choose what I would buy if I had the money.
