This is ridiculously OT, but I'm putting it here in case anyone has ever experienced this. If you have and have any info or suggestions, please pm me. Yesterday and today I got an email sent from my Mom's email address telling me to click on a link to get rich quick. My Mom would never send me crap like that, so I didn't open it (just read it without opening). I deleted it and sent her an email with what the fake one said. I did not forward the fake one, but sent my own with the info in the fake one. She replied to my email, but I never got it. She has since sent me other emails which I have received. It seems like someone got into my email contacts and somehow was able to use my Mom's real email address to send me spam. I googled "someone stole my email address" and read that this is a way that people send viruses. It also said to change my email account password which I did immediately. I told my Mom to do the same. Thanks for any info anyone has. Yup happened to us a few months ago. Suddenly every friend and business associate who we had ever sent e-mail from our home account was getting spam in our name. It was just lovely. Basically a spam program had somehow read our password, was logging in as us, and was using our account - utilizing every single address saved in our address book. The only thing that triggered our warning sensors that something was wrong was that we suddenly got a batch of "cannot deliver" messages from people and organizations we hadn't contacted in years. We then checked the Sent folder and saw hundreds of messages going out. We literally pulled the computer off the internet, ran every virus program we knew, and changed our password. Changing the password is VITAL because the spam software takes over your account by logging in as you. Once you run all your virus software and change your password you should be fine. At least we've been! Keep an eye on your Sent box though. It will be the first indicator you've been hacked again. GOOD LUCK BB!! My computer sent messages to the companies I order from. I had hundreds of emails thanking me for my recent purchase. (No orders were actually sent, just spam from my computer that triggered auto responses from the companies.) I canceled my credit card, ran the spyware and changed my password. My son set up one virus checking program to run automatically every night and another I have to start myself to double check.

Sorry, but I disagree. Nothing can be done about the cancellation of Adam's GMA appearance but something can be done about the attitudes that allowed it. And Chris Brown is not a pariah by ABC's standards. He has appeared on GMA and he is going to be singing on Dancing with the Stars next week. ABC needs to have their hypocrisy exposed. Even if it was the simulated oral sex move that riled them up, how can ABC consider that to be worse than an unsimulated beating of a girlfriend? I would love for the AMAs to be put in the past forever, but if ABC is going to allow a known abuser to appear on their programs, I for one am going to protest. It's not that I don't understand what you are saying but do you think you are going to change their mind or they will admit what they did was bullshit? I don't and all that it does is keep that performance in people's minds and I would think we wouldn't want that to be the defining moment of Adam's career. How long until we let that horse rest I guess is my question. Ten years from now when ABC has someone on with a criminal record are we going to be ZOOMG but they cancelled Adam!!!I agree that Adam shouldn't have been cancelled but I don't agree that Chris Brown shouldn't be allowed to appear on their program just because they cancelled Adam. One thing has nothing to do with the other. Apples and Oranges and even if they didn't let Chris appear it would still have been total horsecrap that they clutched their pearls and cancelled Adam.

Really, really well! Do I remember correctly that 5000 would be good? That number doesn't sound right, though. Here is something I bookmarked a while back for reference. Concert DVDs are NOT huge sellers. Most of the artists mentioned here are big, big artists that have been in the business a long time. It really is amazing that Adam released a live DVD of his first tour from his debut album. I think this says a lot about what RCA think of him as a live performer. new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/chart_watch/72690/chart-watch-extra-i-amthe-years-1-music-video/

QuinnAIT Got a question for you GMA: brizzly.com/pic/4C5Q33 minutes ago via Brizzly Retweeted by you and 11 others Sorry but can we stop pretending that it was the KISS that they were pissed about? It just seems really disingenuous to act as if he didn't shove that guys face into his crotch. They didn't edit out the kiss on the West Coast feed... they edited out the simulated oral sex move. Do I agree with GMA cancelling Adam? No. It was a huge overreaction and they could have gotten some really good ratings had they went ahead and had him on. However, if the fans want the media to forget about it, which we clearly do since we get testy with every mention (Billy Bush?), then perhaps we should stop bringing it up too. The people who were offended are never going to see that performance as anything other than offensive and GMA can't undo what they did and tweeting over a year and half later about it seems counterproductive. Adam has moved on. He didn't suffer from the cancellation. Today his Glam Nation Live DVD/CD hit stores and seems to be doing extremely well; meanwhile Chris Brown is still a parriah.... it all works out in the end. Adam is a big boy and he has consistently stood by his actions. Chris Brown likewise - contrite or not has to live with his actions, these kinds of events are a lightening rod for a much needed and deeper conversation about the demonization of sexuality and worship of violence in US society and if making the comparison gets people to think differently then bravo.
