Chokehold blehh, Trespassing yay Well for me, I'm looking for the most Queen fan friendly killer vocal and drama that is not poppy and common, guitar friendly where Brian can put some emotion on the stage and Adam can ~emote. But I realize everyone has different favorites. I see the generic Queen fan preferring the flip side to the dancy side. If there is such a thing as generic Queen fan. Those "aye aye aye" moans on Chokehold for me are the sexiest damn thing and perfect for Adam to do testing out in a non Glambert specific stage. And it's a safe bet for me that nobody will dismiss his music as just another radio track like I think they might with Trespassing. I mentioned around six weeks ago that I that I thought Trespassing might be a surprise encore but hell - whatever they want to play if there is any chance I would be thrilled

They would really show off his vocals and emotion.

My $.02 about Idol (my first non Queen-related post I think ) If all 3 judges are leaving than Adam is a really good choice because that's going to be a TON of change in one season to handle. Viewers will still have Ryan but three new judges almost makes it a new show consistency-wise. At least with Adam there is some familiarity there and connection with previous seasons. ha... like this thought. we heard only two male names - correct? namely Adam and Will.I.am. Both together would be perfect as witnessed by the GN show. Also - they need a minority on the panel, so: Adam, Maryah, Will.I.am.

How can Adam say he isn't a dancer? This is hard!! I thought so too but don't know a thing. I was waiting for like ice skating judges to hold up placards. How many times around is this?! This could be the "ballerina" figure for glampoon's music box.

IMO the single best guitar note in the history of guitars is the one following "Another hero...." in The Show Must Go On. That one note encapsulates the mood of the entire song- it is mournful, plaintive, and evocative. How one single note played on a guitar can say so much is beyond me aside from the fact that Brian May is a master of his instrument and possesses spot on instincts about how to use it to communicate. I am so glad I have come to know these songs and Brian May through Adam!

can you guess WHY the left the threads alone? like in "I have nothing to say unless I want to sound like a *insert your nice word of choice here*"? A few things come to mind. 1. I haven't seen a lot of the main haters on. 2. With the announcement of Freddie's solo album Barceleona being reissued with a full orchestral backing as originally intended as well as The Great Pretender Blu-ray documentary with an unreleased demo or two being included, the haters have an alternative to look at or talk about. As I said in one of my previous posts - IF Queen Productions were releasing archival stuff with Freddie side by side with the Q+AL it would go down a lot smoother with some of the old time fans.

Trespassing is funky with a bit of rock and a sick bass line. He has some killer vocals on Trespassing also. But as you said, everyone got their own favorite How about "Born to be Wild"? 8-) Trespassing is way more Queen than Chokehold, IMO. Remember all the reviewers that compared it to AOBTD? However, this is a Queen concert. I am not expecting any Adam songs. Of course, there is the little rumor that Tommy took his guitar with him on his flight to London. I assumed it was to get a Brian May autograph. ;D
