Adam was re-enacting Freddie's pain and Brian probably was unaware of the drama since Adam was facing the audience. As soon as Adam touched him, he started cracking up and then he got it, tried to control it, gave Adam a funny look ... it was hilarious if you watched BM during this run... FF to 3:32 .... |

My $.02 about Idol (my first non Queen-related post I think  ) If all 3 judges are leaving than Adam is a really good choice because that's going to be a TON of change in one season to handle. Viewers will still have Ryan but three new judges almost makes it a new show consistency-wise. At least with Adam there is some familiarity there and connection with previous seasons. ha... like this thought. we heard only two male names - correct? namely Adam and Will.I.am. Both together would be perfect as witnessed by the GN show. Also - they need a minority on the panel, so: Adam, Maryah, Will.I.am.ETA....sorry...messed up... Adam and Will.i.am is what I said as soon as this rumour surfaced...but Mariah...meh...but whatever....I would prefer Shania or Jann Arden as they both have great sense's of humour...Shania was a pretty popular guest judge and Jann has one of those bawdy, bigger than life personalities....but they are both Canucks so don't know if that makes a difference... eta2...took 2 tries to fix formatting...sheesh |

For what it is worth. I have thought all the show's so far have been fabulous. I believe despite a few major mistakes, the Kiev show has been the best!  My only disappointment has been that they are not performing Killer Queen! :( |

Random thoughts collected over the last couple of days: 1. I know that Dr. Brian's knee hurts...however white tennis shoes put a dent in the "ROCK STAR" vibe he has going on. 2. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they play an Adam song on Saturday. NOT ONE BIT. It would be an amazing way to acknowledge Adam and from all accounts they like him quite a lot! 3. Adam would kick ass as an AI judge. He wants it. I don't really want to watch the show either. I would if he was on there and I still say that we can trend #voteforadam every week to add some fun. The fashion, the words, the facial expressions.....it would be Nirvana. 4. LOL at the "be more flamboyant" comment. Dude, did you miss the red jacket bit? Oh, you did? How about those sparkly zebra pants? and the twirling??? Missed those too? Anyway, nice to see someone wanting it to get even more crazy train. I'm on board. 5. I want, want, want, want a ROCK OPERA with Adam and Brian and Roger. Call it whatever you need to call it. Hell, get Meatloaf involved; he's an Adam fan and can do Rock Opera let him help write the thing. Make something that will be around FOREVER. They have it in them and it's oozing out of their skin. 6. Tour dates with Queenbert in the US. Yes please. At least a few. PLEASE! 7. The Queen fans have been living the fandom cray for decades and they don't seem to have a cool moniker. That's a little sad......  I can't think of one though. 8. I nominate TALON for the "YEAH COOL MAN JOINS THE BOARD AND SAYS AWESOME WORDS" winner of the week. That's what I have for today! |

MY PREDICTIONS:
1. Queen will play one AFL song as a 2nd encore Saturday night. I would kill for Shady. Are Nile Rogers and Sam Sparro in London by chance?
2. AFL gets the Idol gig. I distain this show. Would prefer him in a mentoring situation but if the gig helps his career then it's a great strategic move with $$$.
3. AFL plays the closing Olympic ceremony with Queen.
4. There will be QueenBert concerts coming to the USA soon.

There was just something about 250K watching Adam that is indelibly etched in my mind as his big Queen moment! |
