This might be the longest post l've ever made! But the past few weeks have been quite something so here goes...
From the bombast of Fat bottomed Girls, to the grit of I Want it all, the heartbreak of Who wants to live forever and joyful I want to break free, Adam colored each Queen song with emotion and his own unique style. He wanted to pay respect and still be himself and he did that in spades creating a whole slew of new fans along the way. I also have so much praise for Brian and Roger and the sheer leap of faith it took by them to entrust their music to Adam. It was a trust he returned many fold and the resulting respect and affection between them spilled out across the stage for all to see.
The shows were their canvas, but one that would have remained on limited viewing if not for the fandom that cared enough to share their experiences so we could all have a piece to take away. So many many thanks to everyone who made your journeys ours to enjoy too. I come and go a bit here and at times find myself frustrated but one thing is always true - this fandom is something else! You could even say "it's a kind of magic".
As for favorite memories - sitting huddled in my dressing gown at my desk at 5am on a cold winters Sunday morning, cup of tea in hand, watching Russian tV ststion live stream Kiev concert and hearing Adam sing "who wants to live forever" for the first time is something that will stick with me probably forever...
Gracias to all.

WOW!! What a past few weeks. I've spent the past few hours viewing the vids of the Queenbert concerts and the laughs and tears are just a small part of what I am feeling. I truly am not crying because it's over. My heart is smiling because it all happened. This fan site has so many writers who better capture what we all feel. Even Dr. Seuss says it better than me. I'm leaving for now to continue wiping my tears of joy.

Nonchallance: "You know that feeling when you realize that you witness something special and you know that each passing moment is taking you closer to the end of that special evening. It saddens you and it hurts, and you know that it will leave you with a sense of loss but in the same time you are happy, and breathless, and you want to laugh and love and hug somebody. This kind of mixed feelings is the best thing you can experience. After everything you will be sad but you will be also fulfilled and grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity. This is how I feel right now."At home again, and it's time to start watching all the wonderful videos and photos, which you have bring to this sites. My feelings are so effusive of all what I have experienced, that when I read the first words Nonchallance (had the honor to meet you at the beginning of the concert in Poland!) about what your sister said, made me weep profusely. The words are so true in my case, even though I am an old fan. As I watched videos on this page I was once again involved in the concert. And I cried again flat out. To return to normal life will be difficult. I am happy that I have you Atopians, who have the same experiences that we can share. terryjo was great to see you in the hotel lobby. You were very friendly and delightful! . I wish I were able get to know better other Atopians!

Thanks tinafea for filling in for Q3 and to everyone that's been bringing over the concert goods. I am happy for all of you that were able to attend Queenbert and thank you for sharing your experiences.

Super busy today but just dropping in very quickly to say, in Sauli-like fashion: YAY! This whole Queen thing was cool. Also, gotta LOL to myself a little, bc the thread today is written as if someone died or something. I understand the sense of loss/ending, so I don't wanna make fun of it, but, as Adam said, this is just the beginning guys! He's on to more awesome things, who knows what the future holds! Looking forward to the Adam concerts this week!!
