Hmmmm. Big stars? Beginning to be a bit less optimistic about this.I think this is the problem, not the solution - I have not watched Idol since season 8, although I tried a couple of times. I don't watch for the judges, I don't care who they are, unless they can JUDGE the contestants (as in assess and contribute something worthwhile to the conversation). J Lo and Steven Tyler were useless IMHO. :  But we would watch if Adam judged, and ogle every camera scan with him in it, and hang on every word....and drool and have endless conversations about what he said. It would keep us busy for months. Plus he would get lots of money, and get the re-exposure he needs plus a new kickstart like JLo and ST got, as well as Adam Levine on the Voic. |

There seems to be the impression that all the big Pop stars lip sync at their live shows. The only one I know that does it all the time is Britney. Katy, PINK, Kelly, Selena, Demi, Maroon 5 do sing live. The main diiference between their live and Adam's is that Adam sounds better live.

IMHO ,Adam is a big star, especially with the IDOL crowd.. That's about what 23,000,000 people watching every week. I think Adam is the ONE.
BTW YouTune NCOE 4,987,677.. so close to the 5,000,000 mark Sauli's YAY

Why? Because you don't think Nigel considers Adam a big star? I've seen Adam referred to in the press as a "superstar," and he's certainly a presence in the celebrity world. His record sales so far may be less than what we had hoped, but they're more than respectable, and he had a successful worldwide tour, a seat at Elton John's Oscar party, the performances with Queen, and frequent mentions on gossip websites. I think anyone but the butthurt FOOs would consider Adam a big star. Adam's level of stardom is actually perfect for Idol, because he's very well known but not so wildly successful that he would demand a huge salary as Nick Cannon is suggesting about Mariah Carey. I'll bet Nigel would settle for that! |

I'm honestly not sure I could handle Adam being a judge and all the comments of OMG get this contestant off my screen so I can see ADAMMMMM!!!
