I have been lurking over at the Numbers Thread... discussion about what's next? One comment (sorry, don't remember whose) was about songs being used on tv shows and commercials. I watch hardly any TV, but wonder what folks here, just for fun, could come up with. Which songs would be good/great to link up with a particular show or product? Ideas? 8-)
They could use "Runnin" for Nike shoes.When I first heard Runnin', I thought the same thing. Also, I wish NBC would use it for promoting the track races at the Olympics. ETA: Also, Cuckoo for a party scene in Hangover III, if there is a third movie. |

I just finished a Skype session with Angelina. (Seeing that we have new members, Angelina Kalahari is a well respected professional opera singer and vocal coach from the UK. And an Adam stan.) She went to all three London shows, and couldn't stop talking about how amazing they were. She will be writing about her experiences at the shows, so I don't want to steal any of her thunder here. But, she did say it was fine to give y'all one quote. "It was the best show I have seen in my life ever, ever, ever, ever. Not just the best pop show. Rock, musical theater, opera... THE BEST EVER." For those of you who might have worried about how well his voice would stand up to that grueling show repeatedly, she said that he has such great technique and they paced the show so well, that there would be no problem with that. (Well, okay, one more quote. She said WWTLF was an operatic aria that had her sobbing, and Adam actually crying as well.) She also raved about meeting all the AToppers at the party. Y'all impressed her. Finally, she said Queen said there would be a DVD! Don't know where she heard that from, and I said, "Well, I understand they record all their shows. They don't release them all." And she reiterated that Queen had said there would be a DVD. About WWTLF - I made a CD for Q+AL from Poland and Kiev (the best of), and everytime I listened to the song I keep on getting goosebump and teary eyed. I can just imagine for people who listening that song LIVE. I read people comments that even Queen fans were crying when they heard Adam sang that song. :2tears: :2tears: |

Why is valilac a guest? ??? ??? what happened? Why did she leave? Hey guys. Conversed with valilac. She assured that she loves ATOP but just needed to concentrate on family right now. She did this before (aka took a total break) in Planet Fierce era. I assume, like last time, she'll be back when she has a chance. She's ok, though. No worries!  ETA: [laughs] Aaaand between the time I started this message and then couldn't finish until after completing kiddie bedtime routines tinafea also talked to her and posted almost exactly the same thing. :D |

That puttheneedleonit.com article was great except for saying WWTLF was a misfire and Roger should have sung it. Seriously? Maybe he meant Radio Ga GA, since it's Roger's song. While WWTLF is Brian's song. |

Talk about a keeper! And a gorgeous man! I can't believe that when I walked by Sauli at the first London Queen concert I said, 'Hi Sauli." Like he was a life long friend. The I realized I don't really know him! I am sure that he didn't think twice about it because fans must do nonsensical things all the time but I am usually sane. |
