That puttheneedleonit.com article was great except for saying WWTLF was a misfire and Roger should have sung it. Seriously? Maybe he meant Radio Ga GA, since it's Roger's song. While WWTLF is Brian's song. Oh but it included this delightful conclusion..... The question you all want to ask: What would Freddie have made of all this?
The answer: You know what? Asides from the man himself I don’t think there was anyone who could’ve done a better job as Queen’s frontman than Adam Lambert. He “gets” the pomp and showmanship of glam-rock better than any other popstar around and vocally he was more than capable of tackling some of most chanted songs in music history.

It was kinda hard understanding the guy because he was speaking English with a very hard French accent. Had trouble understanding him at times since, as my name suggests, I am Dutch. I loved walking out of the venue overhearing obvious die-hard Queen fans talking about Adam and how revitalised Brian and Roger seemed and what an amazing voice he had and how much better it was than Queen with PR. I was shocked however by the people sitting next to me, who had heard of Adam Lambert from American Idol and liked his singing well enough but proceeded to tell me about how he wears a lot of make-up and that they were fine with him being gay but 'gays should not try and shove it in people's faces'. These were women my age. I did say that I thought hetereos were shoving it in my face everyday as well. I'm so sick and tired of this kind of talk. I thought this way of thinking was already behind us. Apparently not :( Well.. those women are Idol audiences.. so {shrug}

[/IMG] Well I am one Adam fan who is not disappointed. I am glad to have him back focused on promoting his music. I loved the Queen concerts and thought they were great promo for Adam. I hope they do more together. But it never made any sense that Adam would disrupt his promotion for the Aug 12th closing ceremony when he needs to be in concert in Japan on Aug 15th. And I will bet that it won't even be a JJ solo, but a group sing. You know all the athletes will be singing WWRY and WATC together!
I thought they only do WWRY and don't do WATC

The man's work ethic is truly remarkable, and I have to say I also really admire Sauli's ability to deal with so many absences in what seems to be a very supportive and mature way. Talk about a keeper! And a gorgeous man! I can't believe that when I walked by Sauli at the first London Queen concert I said, 'Hi Sauli." Like he was a life long friend. The I realized I don't really know him! I am sure that he didn't think twice about it because fans must do nonsensical things all the time but I am usually sane. Well, I said "Hi Sauli" too, but unlike Q3, I'm not usually sane. He was coming thru the checkpoint from the bar area and I was passing thru and the lady ticket checker was questioning him (I missed the beginning)...don't know if he had no ticket or what prompted his reply, but he said "I'm Adam's boyfriend" and she looked at him like "Yeah right" and he repeated "I'm Adam's boyfriend" I confirmed that he was indeed the boyfriend. lol. That was the first time I had heard him speak more than one word in English. Sounded great!

Did others have to speak up to vouch for him?

Sauli was so nice to fans at the London concerts --- and the fans were really respectful of him. Some of the Queen fans that were around me thought we were a bit nuts! And I think a couple of celebs in the audience were surprised to be upstaged by a "boyfriend" they never heard of.
