Fantasy Spring twitted something about the ticket as well. Both venues are not sold out, yet. Adam was out of spot light for almost 2 years and so many people don't even know he's got a new album out. It always "amazed" me when some friends of mine said to me: "OMG! I just saw Adam Lambert's CD at BestBuy! When did it come out? How come I don't hear his song on the radio?" Then, I would get this "don't even get me started on the damn radio" look on my face..... |

Winstar has a billboards down here in the DFW area advertising Rod Stewart and others, but not Adam. My friend who is going with me to Winstar says she would not have known about the concert had I not told her.

All Tickets 4 for the Price of 1! bit.ly/MunovMI pulled the seating chart up on their website last night and only half of the tickets are sold. And the show is next week. He easily sold it out last time around. One thing though I would point out, Winstar is about an hour and a half north of Dallas, it's kinda out in the middle of BFE. Kelly Clarkson and The Fray are going to be there a week or so after Adam, they're selling those tickets 2 for the price of one. I didn't pull up the chart for that show to see how many were left. Pitbull will be there the week after Adam, he's sold more than Adam but there's still quite a few left for him, more than I would have expected. |

I just tried to get 2 tickets together at FS at the high price level and couldn't. Only singles were available. At the next lowest price, I was able to pull seats together but they are way in the back or up high on the sides. Seriously, no one goes to Indio in July. I think the sales here look fine. Not na sold out show, but respectable.
And Costa Mesa is a huge venue. He's sold about 5,000 seats. Again, not sold out, but respectable.

To me, what Adam needed to introduce the album was TV, much more TV than he did. If you compare the launch of FYE with launch of TP, it is clear that FYE had much more of a push on TV.
He could still use TV to push his music. Adam is a visual, as well as an aural artist.
Look at Michael Buble, one of the world's biggest concert attractions as well as someone who sells a lot of cd's. He is not on Top 40 radio with the exception of the one hit he had a few years ago. But he has effectively used TV to build his fan base. Of course, it probably helps that he does Xmas music and
sings safe, middle of the road classics, and has the sexual appeal of a slug. (Hope I'm not offending any fans.) Clearly, though he has had good management with a real marketing plan.

Kelly Clarkson is almost sold out, only a few seats left. Adam appears to be about 5/8 sold and only seats at & to the rear of the sound board are available, i.e., the $25 seats.
