Re the 5 reasons: they are bad from Adam's perspective. Those would be the reasons why AI should want Adam ( acc to the article), but they're not Adam's reasons for wanting it. I'm sure he has a nice set of his own ~~~~ Re OOL: There is this pop music composer in Serbia, very popular, very prolific. He makes hits one after the other very easily. He's very respected also, every song has this lower start and then it builds up to a very dramatic finale, bunch of instruments there and other stuff appreciated by the music professionals. I can't stand him. Because he starts making a song thinking in advance what will make people tick and react to a song. Like a cake, he makes them after a recipe: a little bit of this, a little bit of that... It sounds great, but fake. He isn't a musician, acc to me, he's a salesperson. Selling songs like tomatoes. I have more respect for a peasant selling actual tomatoes on a market. I think Adam is an artist who makes songs because he HAS TO make them, because they are inside him. OOL is like a whisper of his soul to me. I know some of you probably think I'm melodramatic and a drama queen, but that's how I feel. I think this clip has been on this forum in the past, but, it fits so well with your post about writing formulaic pop songs, that it bears repeating.

I just noticed something at Amazon. The track Cuckoo has an "explicit" warning next to it! Has that always been there? Not sure it's always been there but of course it does - hello "like you don't give a fuck"... maybe if it hasn't always been there someone just listened to the track and realised. LOL

LOL Seriously tho, at this point I would think something was wrong if he didn't ask "Are you having fun" at least 3 times during a concert. I am starting to love it! It's like his special sauce. I still think the fans should decided when in one of Adam's concerts they should surprise him and, in unison, shout "Adam are you having fun"?! I think he'd get a kick out of it. ;D What about for the first concert of the official tour? We could easily organize this at the concert. I agree he would laugh his ass off. All we need is about 150 flyers, some team leaders to let people know when to do it and 6 cue cards -- a couple sets of 3-2-1 to signal the time.

Adam Lambert - HD - Outlaws of Love - Fantasy Springs - Indio, CA Published on Jul 23, 2012 by TALCvids I haven't been a huge fan of OOL until now. That performance was just gorgeous and I've already sent the link to a few friends I have who aren't fans but do think he has an amazing voice. Re earlier comment on fan flailing re WWTLF and not as much for his own music like OOL. From my own personal place WWTLF is "the" song I always wanted to hear Adam sing. I know we all have our versions of that list. So to have him do it so spectacularly was amazing to see and hear. As Adam acknowledged - some songs have a built in squee factor because they are beloved anyway and when you add his vocal chops to the mix it becomes a WOW. Harder to do that with your own new music... But I'll play - a big ole FLAIL and SQUEE for the gorgeous OOL above. Send it viral people! Late to the discussion. Sorry. OOL is deeply personal, fragile, touching, and beautifully sung. But it is quiet and introspective, not at all flashy or showy. It evokes a tear and a sigh from me. WWTLF is a completely different animal. It is musical theater or opera at its biggest and boldest. Vocally, technically, it is a beast to sing. Adam's version in London 3.0 would pull standing ovations from an audience if he sang it center stage on Broadway or at the Metropolitan Opera. It is that good, that amazing, that impressive.

I mentioned to a friend that I hoped Adam never sings Underneath live. Is that weird?

[/IMG] Adam started 10 minutes late at 8:15 and finished at 8:50 and Demi started at 9:00. I assume they used the 10 minutes between him and her to remove his stuff from the staqe. So I don't see where he had time for an extra few songs. J/S
Adam didn't start at 8:15 ... I don't remember the exact times, but the person next to me clocked it and he was only on stage for 25 minutes ... the station said he was "under the weather" but Adam tweeted that he was not sick. And it's hard to imagine that he could do the high energy Fantasy Springs show the next night if he was truly "under the weather" ... I think there was something else going on at The End show in Sacramento. He left the stage for a moment just before the last song, maybe he was asking if he could go a little longer (because he started late) and was told "no" ... ? And then the station blamed the short set on him as being "under the weather" ?? Just a thought ... Also, Demi didn't start at 9:00, I looked at my iPhone at 9:22 and she hadn't started yet, so there was no need to get Adam off the stage by 8:50.
I am way behind -- the set list had 5 songs -- we have a photo of it. This was not some last minute cut. My guess is the agreement with the station was that the artist (Adam) will perform 5 songs and for a total of XX minutes and included scheduled start and end times. Maybe someone from the station called him off stage and asked if he would do another song or two -- and if that happened I am certain Adam would have said no, as he should. Whatever happened, there was a long gap before Demi that was not planned and not related to Adam's performance going long.

I would ask this on the technical thread but it does not seem active.
I can't seem to download anymore on KeepVid. It just pooped out. Too much Adam heat I guess.
What do you all recommend for downloading YouTube vids?

I mentioned to a friend that I hoped Adam never sings Underneath live. Is that weird? It would be really hard to do live. It is not the only song -- he has never done CLYG live.
