Nope. I can't even always listen to it on the CD. So personal and emotional. That was my reason. Too personal and raw. I would feel like I was eavess dropping. Well - he DID put it on his CD - just sayin'

Not to be blithe about it - but he did put the song on an album for hopefully millions to listen to so methinks he's probably ok with idea of you hearing him sing it (even live if he chose to do it...) The biggest compliment a singer can have is to see his audience reduced to tears during his performance! That doesn't mean the listener is always in the mood to do so. If I could get through La Momma Morte and I'll Cover You Reprise - Rent and any number of ballets...LOL www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmvmoWa_Ckowww.youtube.com/watch?v=xXzeEfH6PTk&feature=related

I had an Irish Setter that LOVED this song. He would shut his eyes and hang his head.....he's the one that actually introduced me to many operas as he loved them. I think it was the soaring soprano in some that melted his heart. I don't really know. He and I listened to a lot of them together and I grew to appreciate them as much as he did
