OMFG Adam Fucking Lambert Retweeted me ... Umm..YES! OMG, OMG, OMG....I would have died!!! Like now you know that he saw it, he watched it, he loved it, he sent it out to the universe. ;D ;D ;D at the picture above me. Congrats Virg77! ==== Christian Science Monitor was always positive towards Adam. For example: In their 2011 article 'How much do you know about American Idol? Take our quiz.' Adam had 2 of the 27 questions and was mentioned in a few others, each time positive. They generally understand and appreciate him. The mission of the newspaper is stated by its founding father to be: "to injure no man, but to bless all mankind." No wonder they get Adam. Also, the paper is only marginally Christian, usually tying into its title with one specific religious discussion article, but it is not coming from a missionary or indoctrinating agenda and certainly reports without religious bias in its regular news reporting. But topics of religion in general and social/personal welfare rank high with the paper. You will find an emphasis on discussions or in depth coverage on topics like Islam or various refuge crisis' or matters of conscience, etc. For those who on a slow night feel like taking the idol quiz, here is the link: www.csmonitor.com/The-Culture/TV/2011/0310/How-much-do-you-know-about-American-Idol-Take-our-quiz/American-Idol-best-sellerFor not watching the show, I did respectable: 81 %...lol Learned most of this 'important' idol info on atop, would have no clue otherwise....the two Adam questions are trivial, but not all of the others are or at least that's what I thought. Mys*&@^#r probably comes back with 100 % or something, but for me my score is more than enough. Actually quite shocking that I know so much. It's all Adam's FAULT. === Btw, is anybody else wondering what Kris is thinking about the ongoing Chick-Fil-A hoopla? He better not publicly praise their food ever again....just saying. And I love that more and more companies are having a back bone and are starting to stand up against the bigots, like that Chick-fil-A CEO. Thank goodness for that. The tide is turning! It's turning everywhere. And tbh, I think that 3-4 years ago, somebody like Adam would not have been in contention for an idol judges seat, exactly because of the advertisers. He has helped to create that freedom that now slowly but surely is spreading across the world of business. At least here in the US this positive support from the business world was not happening until recently. Babysteps...and Adam is leading the way. If he gets the idol job at all, I don't expect it to be easy for him either, but it will be again progress made.

I mentioned to a friend that I hoped Adam never sings Underneath live. Is that weird? Nope. I can't even always listen to it on the CD. So personal and emotional. That was my reason. Too personal and raw. I would feel like I was eavess dropping.

Not to be blithe about it - but he did put the song on an album for hopefully millions to listen to so methinks he's probably ok with idea of you hearing him sing it (even live if he chose to do it...)

Late to the discussion. Sorry. OOL is deeply personal, fragile, touching, and beautifully sung. But it is quiet and introspective, not at all flashy or showy. It evokes a tear and a sigh from me. WWTLF is a completely different animal. It is musical theater or opera at its biggest and boldest. Vocally, technically, it is a beast to sing. Adam's version in London 3.0 would pull standing ovations from an audience if he sang it center stage on Broadway or at the Metropolitan Opera. It is that good, that amazing, that impressive. Cassie - Which is your favorite recording of WWTLF from London 3.0?
