Real life is busy, and I have less time to comment these days, but the Costa Mesa show, and then the FS show, were so much fun! They were completely different concert experiences, and I enjoyed both of them in different but fabulous ways. It was also wonderful meeting up with so many of you who share the fun and joy that is Adam. Thanks for being as warm and accepting and enthusiastic in real life as you are here. As for the AI rumors, Adam has the ability to be a 360 kind of guy who can engage in whatever fun and profitable entertainment opportunities come his way- and the brains to figure out how to use them to generate even more opportunities. These are all ways to make money and keep himself in the public consciousness, both hard things to do in today's music business. Maybe he does a show like Pretty Little Liars, has some one off concerts, has a movie cameo/role, does some more shows with Queen, is a commentator somewhere or a judge on a reality show, puts together his own tour or some production or another, works on a side project with Nile, does some fashion work, makes a new album... all with his vocal talent as his foundation, if that makes sense. He will always want to make music and perform it for others, but he will have fun doing other things as well, maybe even simultaneously. After all, he says he gets bored easily. Acceptance of his voice as something special is out there and opportunities will come. His album has been well received critically and it is good. A few years ago, Adam couldn't have imagined having all the opportunities that he has now! As he says, this is just the beginning. He seems to want to tell us this lately, and I believe him. Adam is phenomenally talented, ambitious and driven. I want to enjoy the ride he leads me on, the fun of right now, and the crazy twists that are sure to come.
I don't want to be so myopic that I lose perspective and fail to enjoy him and his big picture.
When he asks me if I am having fun, lol, I want my answer to be the resounding "yes" that he so deserves. YES to all, especially the underlined parts. Not only does he deserve our resounding YES, but sometimes I feel like this world doesn't deserve him. Luckily, there are "a few" who do.

You know I just listened to Cuckoo FS again and I'm loooooving the part where Adam introduces Brian London and he says he told Brian "Help me" with a Purple Haze "help me" but then when he starts singing again he improvises and the first time "Will you help me bring it to life" is not exactly right and then so quickly he found the rythm for the second "will you help me bring it to life" and Brian London continues "bring it to life" and they continue singing and I'm sooooo fascinated by all this, it's like what he told us about when they start writing a song and the way they're winging it, like, one is playing something and the other one continues, I fucking loved it, it might well be a start for a new song. Not that it's gonna be a new song , I hope you understand what I'm talking about lol. I love that intro too and I am picturing Brian sitting at Adam's dining room table, which we've seen before, with that painting on the wall behind him, earphones on, listening to Trespassing for the first time!

So, P!NK, Christina, Mariah, and KE$HA all seem to have albums coming out this Fall! Pop diva overload!!! Max Martin is working on Christina's album this time and Dr Luke is doing KE$HA again. Man, the Fall dancey Pop songs are going to be abundant. Not sure this bodes well for any new single from Adam. IDK :-/

Yes Gelly! And this very Adam issue. I have never had similar experience with other performers I have had a pleasure to listen, weather it has been POP, jazz or opera. I mean I might have missed the atmosphere of live performance, or some altered way of presenting the music, but this is very different experience. I am missing it so much, and at the same time feel so lucky and honored to have been able to be there. Forget the atmosphere of the live performance -- there is something in the quality of Adam's voice live that cannot be captured in any recorded form. I have no idea what it is. I have had a similar experience with live guitarists and bands -- but never a vocalist. Iron Maiden, Guns n Roses, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix live were quite different than they were recorded. But even the great operatic tenors that I have heard live sound similar to their studio recordings. I have no idea what it is but if someone figures it out, let me know. OK, I will figure this out, right after I have finished my perpetual motion machine, and will let you know . But did I understand right: You have heard Jimi Hendrix live????

I feel very strongly that Adam will be huge. I see the Idol gig to be a shortcut and with these songs coming out it could be a time when he outsells everyone! Once you hear him, and I don't doubt we will if he is on idol, you are Adamoized!

I agree with you, not the best time to release a single, but you know, what will be will be.
