FYI - Brad Paisely is a HUGE Country Star in the US., he has won entertainer of the year by CMA (Country Music Awards) for several years, has hosted the show, and is very big here, and very well loved. Having Brad on the show would bring a huge country following to AI. Although Carrie Underwood and Scotty McCleery are the only country artists to win AI in 10 years, country music is a HUGE market in America, and even Kelly Clarkson did a duet with Jason a Aldean, a country singer, it was a good song. Country consistently makes money, and it is smart for AI to pursue the country fans this way. However, I must say I would hate to see AI go country all the way! But backing country won't help with winning back a younger demographic at all... And does AI need a bigger country following? It seems the viewers veer towards that side anyways, I mean look at all the wgwgs who keep winning(and subsequently flopping). I don't think this Brad guy is a good move on AIs part if it is true that he is being considered... :-/ Not that I really care who else is on the judging panel as long as Adam is on it ;D Agree! I have no idea who this Brad is but they might as well convert the AI to a Country Music AI...the leaning towards WGWGs has defined AI for several years now. I was hoping that AI is looking to change that by bringing "real" judging and a different voting system, with % of the decision done by the panel - thereby giving the judges more control over the outcome. whatever, as long as Adam gets a seat ....  |

I feel with you.  After London, I've decided to go to as many TP concerts as I can reasonably go to (before London I thought 2 or 3 concerts would be ok). Reasonably for a Glambert, not ordinary peeps. So from now on my holiday money gets saved, my days off get saved .... and I am going to see a lot more of the world than I ever thought I would. All the flailing and reports from the last days have only cemented that decision. I just hope Adam will tour a loooooot next year!!!! I will be there.  Well you know where you can stay when you come to Texas!!! ;D Wasn't it great? *loonygrinonmyface*  |

My problem with texting Z100 continues. I've tried long, short, please and thank you. Their text back to me says to use another keyword. Could it be I'm texting NY with a 202 area code which is DC? I've been texting them for weeks though with no problem. This started on Friday. My last text was, "Please play Adam Lambert NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES, Thank you!" Before that I used "Request NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES - Adam Lambert" This is the one that used to always work. Any help would be appreciated! I am texting from the local NYC phone and I CANNOT find ANY combination to be accepted. Short, long, medium... nothing. At this point I stopped trying.  Jumping to the end of the thread to respond here. I just texted "Please play Never Close Our Eyes by Adam Lambert". I sent it to 55100 which is the Z100 text number. I immediately got a reply thanking me for my text. I am in Milwaukee. I think all the radio text numbers are only 5 digits long. I did the same for WKTU at 31035 and Q102 at 71021. I got thank you responses from them too. |

It would be a very well rounded panel and Brad has a great personality! It would be a fun panel! Some people think the fact that Randy got Mariah for Idol means Randy will stay on as a judge. That maybe it was part of the deal. I think just the opposite. Having Mariah AND her manager as judges would be too weird. Randy is either leaving or doing something else for Idol. THIS MAKES PERFECT SENSE!!  |

OK, these pics are "old." I'm sure we've seen the full-length one on the left... but isn't the close-up on the right new?? Seriously SERIOUSLY HOT. Even with the shaved sides. (and I hated the Gump style with the fires of a thousand suns!!!)  Yup, I agree. And the suit is beautiful too. I know his Gump hair is in my avi but I just ignore it. Now as for the possible AI news -- oh my! I would so love to see Adam again on a weekly basis on my television set. I really did have major withdrawal after his season was over. I'm laughing that Q3 said we were not supposed to complain because this might be a slow news day. Just another day in the life of an Adam Lambert fan! Perhaps I should post that every day!!! It was dead this morning -- I mean dead. And then........ |
