Yeah, it starts all over again But this time hopefully with some big RCA money behind it. What's the point to push out a new single (after 2 failed ones) without serious $$$$ and support behind it?? Counting on radio's pro bono, or a chance of organically caught on by the masses thru a few TV appearances??? No, this time it has to go all balls out, and radio has to be onboard! Then, we're talking about RCA here...based on their track record from this era so far, I'll keep just a tiny bit of skepticism till proven otherwise.

Wow! NBC is using Phillip Phillip's single "Home" for the women's gymnastics theme during the olympics, and in less than 2 hours it just went from #80 to #14 on i-Tunes! Make that #7. I heard it last night and it amazes me that so many people wanted to download that song. I guess my tastes are just very different! :-/

Is that his management or his label? Somebody is doing a bang-up job! I'm hoping RCA steps up to the plate strong this time. But do they ever put more push behind a 3rd single than a 1st or 2nd? I doubt it so I'm not expecting much. Hoping, but not expecting.
I'm still over the moon about this. Certianly puts to rest that trollish rumor about being dropped.

Adam did the ground work and paid the dues (radio concerts & whatnot) for BTIKM & NCOE, sure there're still some behind-the-scenes stuff. IMO, while RCA isn't as aggressive as Interscope, but they're not stupid enough to just let a 3rd single swim and sink all on its own, especially after 2 failed ones. Cuz ya know, what's the point??

Well, RCA kind of has a history of just throwing a third single out there, sometimes without an official add date even, just, it would seem, to appease the artist and the fans. But, I am still hoping that this is not the case with Adam and that they do actually have some kind of plan.

I know what you mean, but the fact RCA pushes out a 3rd single after 2 failed ones (rather quickly) and the timing (right before his Asia & "down-under" promo and his very likely return promo trip to UK), and the TV show exposure (Pretty Little Liars), I'll give them a huge benefit of doubt....till of course, my delusions are shattered into pieces, again! Also, based on what RCA exc & Adam have said all along in interviews, it seems there's always a plan to release multi singles.

Why would rca, which failed to support the first two singles, suddenly promote the hell out of a third single?

Honestly, Evamaria, I don't know. Common sense would seem to say that the big push should have been with the first single, BTIKM, or with the first CHR single, NCOE. But, if RCA/DMG has something big planned promo-wise for the fall, then I can see them supporting. It remains mind-boggling to me that RCA wouldn't have given NCOE a huge push when the album was at #1 and Adam was playing some big-time CHR radio concerts. I kept waiting and it never happened.
I guess we will see what happens. And can I just say I hope Adam doesn't have to go on twitter urging fans to "blow this shit up," lol. For once it would be nice if the label could get it done.
