I didn't buy Sauli's Fault issue. I'll buy Adam's music and videos and go to his concerts but that's where I draw the line. I don't go supporting all his friends, family & BF's.

My feeling is that Brad Paisley is probably in. They seem to want a country judge, which makes sense. So, Mariah and Brad. I don't know what to think about Adam anymore, but I think if a Jonas or Pharrel was interested, one of them would get picked before Adam. Nick Jonas could be AI's answer to Britney and Demi.
In other words, I no longer feel like Adam is in the running :(

I really don't know what to think about Adam getting the AI judge spot. I just get the feeling that Adam knows of something big in store for him. He has been almost giddy with excitement lately. He hints that there is more to come etc. I was sure it was the AI spot but maybe there is something else we don't know about. I agree -- clearly something is up -- and happened between 7/14 and FS. But we really have very few clues. My dream is that he got tour funding for a real tour and bigger venues and real sets. Maybe a beautiful co-touring deal. All I know is that we are all going crazy with worrying and Adam meanwhile is the happiest we've ever seen him. ... whatever it is - it makes him happy and MORE than OPTIMISTIC about the future... now, if I could only stop angsting myself like my mind tells me to. :-[

Without the Idol gig, I just don't know how he's gonna be able to sell albums

That's where I'm at teddybear. I feel like he needed the Idol gig to get his album and songs noticed (and selling). I mean, without radio, where can he get the exposure his career needs?

And what will be the next single?

It is my DH's birthday this Sunday. I asked him what he wanted. He said simply "For you not to talk about Adam Lambert for the whole day." :( It's gonna be tough.... I read your post to my husband. He laughed and said he wants to form a self-help group for all the husbands that have to listen to Adam Lambert talk all day. Wish him a Happy Birthday from us.

Yeah - and the weekly exposure would help put the butts in the seats in those larger concert venues. It would all work together. And it really doesn't matter what the next single is if radio isn't on it. Can a single sell if no one hears it? :-/ guess I need directions to the dark side. :(
