Let me tell you a little story...
As I was leaving for work 7:30 AM this morning, I walked out the front door only to notice something different. I looked at the street and eyed something unusual. At first glance, it looked like a large flat object. Curious, I take a closer looked. It MOVED...oh oh
It was a large snapper 14". oh no. Being an animal lover, as much as I'm not crazy about these critters, I don't want an animal to become roadkill and it was trash day and could hear the trucks making their rounds. I knocked onto my neighbors door, (I knew he was up because I run into him at various times letting his yorkie out for pottie. Luckily we were able to trap him in a large container and moved him to the nearby creek. I abut up to 26 acres of open space/woods so hopefully he'll be fine
After arrival at work, a resident comes in very animated and states that a buck is in the back.
Of course, we scramble to the window to look out but I decide to exit the back door to see this buck. Right before me is standing a large buck with a nice set of racks (antlers) I think they are beautiful animal but not excited to be looking eye-to-eye. He ran off into the woods. whew
what next??????
where is this conversation going you ask??
ONE MINUTE before the end of the day, I receive a call. Impusively, I pick up the phone rather than let it go.
The called starts this conversation. Miss are you aware of the Chick a fil support yesterday? I said yes I was
He added. Are you aware the next week the HOMOSEXUALS are planning a protest and plan to have a sit in and kiss each other??
my response? Oh what is wrong w kissing? I happened to be in support of their rights.
Not thrilled w/my reply, he asks "What does your township have place to protect the citizens??? Am I hearing right???
Annoyed I reply, We are not responsible for people actions, if it concerns
you, call the police. This is their jurisdiction and I hung up.
He called back immediately, I saw the caller ID and yelled to everyone, don't answer that call as we all were heading out the door anyway.
THe employee upstairs heard my recap of the call and "damn, I would have replied, and "I will be happy to watch the girls kiss each other.
Now this call came from an area code I don't know but it was not local
This call infuriated me but also got me thinking.
If this group who is making phone calls to various townships to warn them of the supposed upcoming protests, then "WHAT IF" these groups read the various gossip/news reports up Adam possible AI Judge position, did these groups make a concerted effort and call into the power-to-be in protest????? Maybe he was approached and possibly offered the position, but AI backed out thinking maybe not?
I brought back the AMA's protest and how TV caved in.
: I said he would be able to do it and would be great for big audiance. This comment was how I would expect it to impact on me personally.
