OT - I want to put together and make a DVD of QAL London 2 and 3 from all the YTs out there. Can some one pm me what software to use and how to do it.. ;D. Never made one before Much appreciate it  |

Sorry to be off topic, but just got in and need to make a decision tonight before I go out of town tomorrow. I have been waiting in hopes my 2 copies of Fault Magazine would still arrive, but they have not. I need to 'reorder' them and pay the postage and handling fees if there is no chance the originals are coming. One of them was a gift for a friend, so I feel I have to do this. So, is there anyone who still has not gotten their Fault Magazine they originally ordered?

Mariah sounds great on her new single. Her voice is just... great. I think I need to re-listen to it -- from something other than the Billboard link! I thought her vocal was just buried in the production. I think she sounds like Alvin from Alvin and the Chipmunks. I'd turn it off if it came on the radio... |

Seriously! She sings the chorus three times and is mostly softly in the background. Yep, it's pretty much a rap song first with Mariah singing the Hook. This is like all the rap collab songs that have been on the radio for the past couple of years from Rihanna and even Sia is getting in on the game. It actually is a smart move. At her age, Mariah is going to have to introduce herself slowly back to the public and what better what to do it? She can release a different kind of single once she gets back on the radio with a couple of songs. It's a strategy that new artists (like Bruno Mars a couple of years ago) use all the time and sometimes it works! I also think Mariah is going to target Urban radio and leave Pop for the youngins.  I actually love the Sia and Flo Rida songs but they are Flo Rida songs Ft. Sia. Mariah's song is supposed to be a Mariah song and she's hardly in it. I maybe have to listen to a better stream because I hear the one at BB as Mariah singing background on her single with the rappers & production front and center! I do believe you are correct..... she doesn't even seem to be trying for Pop with this song. |

In this slow week, my thoughts are going towards getting ready for the next big wave. My camera buff husband independently has just purchased a newly released super camera that is supposed to be better than the Zoom one that has given such lovely vids. He is willing to "share" it with me.
What I really want to get next is a great set of headphones. Anyone have any suggestions?

I picked up the 12 magazines that Nick hand delivered in London, and none of the people I delivered those to have gotten their original orders. |

Fault is a sore topic with me. My copy arrived by turtle and the turtle ate it on the way. I had to send them a photo of the damage to get a replacement. And I have never seen that replacement or heard anything. URG! I have surrendered.
