During banter at the Upright Cafe, Adam was talking about his understudy role in Wicked and how he got to kiss the star. He said something akin to of course they weren't my preference, but they were nice lips anyway. He has also said that he is not like some gays that go yuk when they touch a women. I think that the press would be more of a problem with Adam in a straight romantic role than he himself would be. He could do his professional job, but I bet the press would have no mercy on him if he did. Unless you mean his comments about "I still think it's beautiful even though I don't wanna fuck it". Are you paraphrasing? Because if not, that is definitely a quote that would get the LBGT comm up in arms, too. except Adam recently revealed that he has, in fact, had sex with a woman so I don't think he thinks vaginas are icky things to not be touched. Adam loves women even if he's not sexually attracted to them. His best friends are women so I find the idea that he's one of those women hating gays seems so out of left field. |

Solveig is certainly someone Adam would listen to.... but it is the specific track that puzzled me. Certainly Adam knows of Solveig -- Solveig was a producer on Madonna's MDNA. And he is a very prominent DJ. It would be great if Adam worked with him....... |

swarm... you are not serious, are you? getting quite silly... and mainly - you chose not to answer my question, so I am going to repeat: ...and what would be swarm's reaction to an actor saying something like "I was offered the role of a gay man and I felt YUK about it".... spill please  also, why do you think I would care about what LGBT community "thinks" - even assuming there is such collective thinking? Has this community supported Adam at any stage? Has it embraced and help one of their own to succeed? Has it understood the enormous role he (albeit unwillingly in the beginning) has played and is playing and is destined to play in promoting the equality and acceptance cause? Has it understood the power of this man to get people as far from the LGBT concerns as you can possibly get to now sit up, take notice AND ACT???? please feel free to insert one of the great gifs you usually have here ;D as you well know - luv your thoughts

Seriously! She sings the chorus three times and is mostly softly in the background. Yep, it's pretty much a rap song first with Mariah singing the Hook. This is like all the rap collab songs that have been on the radio for the past couple of years from Rihanna and even Sia is getting in on the game. It actually is a smart move. At her age, Mariah is going to have to introduce herself slowly back to the public and what better what to do it? She can release a different kind of single once she gets back on the radio with a couple of songs. It's a strategy that new artists (like Bruno Mars a couple of years ago) use all the time and sometimes it works! I also think Mariah is going to target Urban radio and leave Pop for the youngins.  |

I personally think the discussion, while genuine and informative, strayed a little bit from the original poster's thought. We are discussing Adam's acting and performance skills and choices and I believe the original (I can't remember who the poster was so maybe I am just projecting my own fantasy onto your intent in which case, I'm sorry) idea was actually the wish of a straight person to see Adam in a heterosexual romantic role because it would facilitate a rather personal fantasy.
Adam will, of course, always be expected and encouraged to make choices in his own best interest and while sexy is indeed sexy, it's not wrong to wish for a small assist to facilitate a little fantasy building.
