Nova, what are the Confidentials videos and how can I find them? As you may have figured out, they were "home movies" that contestants on American Idol filmed during the competition - they could be about any topic. I believe you had to be a member of the Idol fan club or something in order to see them, but of course some smart person put them online and I got a copy (this was years ago and I'm not sure how/where). You were right, they're great. Apart from listening to him sing, nothing beats Adam talking into a camera. And I think there is the first mention of funk His pretty little head is so full of ideas, I can't wait to see what comes next.

Please let Adam sing a Bond theme!!! Many of them become iconic (Goldfinger, Spy who Loved Me, Live and let die ... ) and he would kill it! He's already made a Bond theme - Chokehold has Bond written all over it, I can see the opening credits now

I have all of them, as mp4s, and I would be happy to share them if someone could help with the technical details (I don't have a youtube acct or mediafile acct) I think all of the videos were on YT and taken down for copyright violations. I don't know whether YouTube would still take them down, if you posted them there. Downloads might be better, but that's your choice. You can sign up for a free Mediafire account: www.mediafire.com/

I just watched the Top 8 confessional. Which 2 of Adam's friends also auditioned for AI the same day? Did they make it to Hollywood week? I think gelly knows who they were. I don't remember hearing that they made it past the first day.

You mention Meatloaf - He hit the music scene in the 70's like a "bat out of hell" and sold millions of albumns, had many hits, became iconic - do you think there would be a place for him on today's charts?? I personally doubt it :( Probably not -- but he had trouble in the 1970's too. Took him 20 years to score a hit single. Meat Loaf has one of the top selling albums of all time -- "Bat Out of Hell" (1977) -- selling over 43 million copies (through 2009). > It peaked at #14 in the US but ended up certified US 14x Platinum > Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell (1993) was a #1 album in US and many other countries. Meat Loaf has many singles -- but only one #1 hit -- "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" (1992) > It was his 29th single. > Out of 47 singles -- only only 9 singles ever charted in the US Billboard Hot 100. And his #1 hit is also his only Top 10 hit. He did not fair better with singles in other markets. I am a huge fan of Mr. Loaf who is actually still pretty amazing live -- but once was fantastic. [Adam is better.] Wow do you know everything? I just assumed his singles were big hits because I heard them all the time on the radio while in college - they were part of my "soundtrack of life" ("Two out of Three Ain't Bad" was one of my favorite songs). Aside from vocal power and theatrics, Meat is also an actor (loved him in Rocky Horror), so that's something else they have in common. I just hope Adam avoids the mental and physical breakdowns ....

Apologize for interrupting current conversation.........this person has great videos (Hi Mika!!!!) Cayman - Just up from the rabbit hole you sent me down.... The sound is great on her videos. Hope she has more. Thanks! The audio and flow is so great on the Kiev TV stream, but you can really see how the energy level between Adam and Brian went waaaay up between Kiev and London. They are all having so much fun together by the last show, you know hope know there has to be more!

I don't remember hearing that they made it past the first day. Danielle Stori & John Chandler went to the Idol audition with Adam. Neither made it to the producers' round.
