This question was in yesterday's thread. I don't know if Sauli has any actual spelling disorder (at least I haven't heard of one), but there are quite a lot of typos and strange spellings in his blogs. Even whole sentences can be sort of mixed up - and that's what you can sometimes see in the translations, as well, since even though we try to make the text at least understandable, we try to keep it also close to the original! ;D So, I don't know if it's carelessness or just his way or writing, or if there's something else behind it. Regarding the spelling question -- I am a very good speller (English major in college) and had a long-term boyfriend who was a newspaper reporter and quite brilliant -- but he couldn't spell well at all. I think like intellects tend to unite, but maybe they can spell and maybe they can't. From Sauli's Fault article, I think he and Adam have very similar intellects, and they seem to share some other traits (bad spelling) as well! Luckily they can understand each other without words... [/IMG]
Maybe "Broken English" is a spelling song? ;D Or is that "Broaken English"?

But would mentoring on Idol give Adam any amount of TV facetime at all? That's what he needs to get him back into the public awareness. Queenbert press built Adam's reputation as a singer, performer and recording artist substantially. And the media weights were substantial. He also got a lot of press from Idol speculation. I do not think Adam is out of the "public awareness" although more would be better. Idol could give Adam a platform, but most Idol viewers are not going to buy Adam's music or attend a concert. Look at what happened on iTunes after he performed on Idol. WWFM sold a lot, nothing else really did, including Aftermath. I am skeptical that Idol = dramatically increased recorded music sales for Adam. Yes, Aerosmith's sales doubled after Steven was on the show. But that was because Idol's 50+ audience buys classic rock music. Look at what happened to JoLo -- her album just debuted at #20 with 12,000 units. The Voice judges have big sales but they were big before they were judges. >> For me, I would love him to get to co-headline with an artist with a similar audience.

You're forgetting though that JLo has been selling a ton of singles. And she is not an album-seller (dance-type music), she fits more in the single-selling bucket at this point. I would say Idol definitely helped her single "On the floor" to take off. JLo is also touring very successfully right now. Not sure she could have done this, on the same scale, 2-3 years ago, without the fame and spotlight that Idol brought her. Do I think Adam would be ok WITHOUT Idol? ABSOLUTELY. Do I think getting on Idol would help Adam's sales, touring, and overall notoriety? YES. I think it would be hard to argue otherwise.
