Whatyasay, Do you think all those new CDs were a restock, or were they left over from when Trespassing was release? IMHO something is up.. I would rather see more copies than too few copies. I usually go by the big sellers ,if they have many copies for sale ,I feel that they have been restocked. When Trespassing first came out ,FYE told me they only got 7 copies and only sold two of them at that time,Barnes and Noble only got 4 copies and hadn't sold any. Walmart had a few. When I went to Walmarts last week ,there were about ten copies of Trespassing.The most I have ever seen in one place. |

My Walmart has restocked Trespassing. Now it has a section of its own and not stuck behind Miranda Lambert. It was also in the section of best sellers. ;D

My Target recently restocked Trespassing also, and with a reasonably hefty amount.

He did sort of - but that was nearly 3 weeks ago. Yeah, the last time Adam talked about it was before they flew Jonas and Paisley in for talks. Frankly, after the way Nigel admonished Adam fans on Twitter, I got the feeling Nigel doesn't want Adam. If you go back and look at the Tweets, Nigel was very clear that he did not appreciate getting over 300 Tweets sent to him in an hour promoting #Adamon Idol. But he tweeted the action would not affect the decision. Ok maybe not the AI gig but what he RCA has decided to promote the hell out of the next single? What if they have gotten assurances from the top 40 of guaranteed play? Is this a possibility? Therefore, RCA believes the next single will take off, thus re-stocking...ok if not

Trespassing is merchandised in the pop section under L at most of the stores here (North Ohio). Last week Trespassing sold 2,000 units in the US -- that means Best Buy sold a few hundred copies -- less than 1 per store. ETA: An increase in stock in one Best Buy does not = restocking. But it is interesting. |

I have a request please. Every time this topic comes up, some of you are saying that he said in an interview that he cried at that time. I don't remember an interview where he said that. Saying it was very tough for him, yes, and how scary it was and that he was afraid that he lost his chance but crying? I must have missed it , so please if anyone can find it I would like to read it. It took a bit of sleuthing but I think this is what people are remembering. It's an interview with Toronto Virgin 99.9 on December 3, 2009. The crying part starts at 4:09. IMO Adam has been much more frank lately about his worries and doubts following the AMA performance. At the time he worked hard to present a brave and calm face. Based on what he said in this interview, it's a bit of a leap to say he was crying about what a hard time he was having. I mean, it's a logical leap, but still, we don't really know Thanks for your sleuthing, NoAngel but the interveiw I am thinking of is way more recent than this one. I am starting to think I am crazy and just imagined it! |
