I'm back on the 2nd of July thread and working my way forward slowly :
I was just thinking... Since Saturday afternoon I feel like I've had the life sucked right outta me just from the emotional rollercoaster of watching Adam on that stage in Kiev. I can't remember the last time I felt this exhausted, yet all I've been doing is sitting in the comfort of my own home. Yet, leading up to this concert, Adam Fucking Lambert was running all over the place doing promo promo promo and more and more interviews and driving all over the UK and having to be perky and happy for everybody and then going through 47 time zones flying all the way back to the west coast of the USA for a concert in front of what... 5,000--10,000 people... I don't even know... then flying all the way back to London, then flying to Ukraine just in time to leap onto a massive stage in front of a quarter of million people and he's bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and looks as fresh as a fucking daisy.
Fucking alien.
Fuck I love you woman!  AND eri9 dahling... I love you too TY so much for this. It's beautiful :2tears: Talk about your full-circle moments!!! I edited his AI audition together with Kiev performance... enjoy!

One of my all-time favorite songs EVAH is Queen's I'm in Love With My Car. The lyrics are so clever and funny and I just love the way the song sounds, the time signature, and how Roger sings it.

Went to Best Buy today and checked out the CD section (gotta make sure the AL placement was good don't ya know) and he had an ENTIRE row to himself and there were 10 copies of each of deluxe and regular. He hasn't had a full row except for the new release... gave me a major hmmmmmm moment. I was in a best buy this evening too, and of course had to check and see if trespassing was there. Trespassing was featured at eye level in the hot new releases row (keeping pretty good company too!)...and there was a thick stack of trespassing CDs in the lambert, Adam section in the alphabetical listing section too. I assumed they'd just restocked, because there were about 6 on the shelf, rather than the regular 2 or 3 ( and a few BFMs too, which I may have relocated to another part of the store ) |

Hi all, I've been lurking here for a couple of months. Really love this site. I have to register and de-lurk today as I am so concerned with the current state of Adam's career. It may sound weird to you but I am more worried about his career than mine. Instead of sending my job application around I am sitting here wondering how Adam can boost the CD sales Q3, have you watched the Endfest interview: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn7wt21DfVsIdol question was discussed at 4:50 mark. Based on Adam's reaction and what he said there, do you think that there was something between Adam and AI going on? Would Adam say "it could happen" if he thought that the deal with AI had never happened or could never been finalized? Assuming that there will be no AI gig at all, why do Adam and the label decide to release the 3rd single when the first 2 didn't do very well, and why now? Why don't they wait till October, around the Pretty Little Liars gig??? First of all, I am glad you delurked. No sense in being concerned for Adam -- he does not appear to be concerned and he has a bright future. The third single was planned long before anything to do with Idol was in the picture. The strategy was discussed by RCA execs in a Billboard interview last January and it included a very long promotional cycle going into 2013 and they are sticking with that. The goal was first to reintroduce Adam in the US, then to expand his global audience. Seems to me that they are steadily on track. On Idol, Adam has not confirmed or denied anything. All his answers are vague. And I think he must be on the consideration list but a lot of people are on that list AND being considered does not mean he will be asked. And yes, there is nothing related to Adam and Idol I have not poured over including the Endville video. Honestly, I do not know how much of this is just good PR and how much is Adam not being able to say anything. But it certainly is good PR. |
