Well, the Voice will have eight judges now, what with the addition of Michael Buble, Billie Joe Armstrong, etc. There can apparently never be too many judges - or singing competition shows. About Nick Jonas, I understand that his brother Joe is a judge on the new talent show on the CW. (Rapper Nelly is also a judge.) Have you watched The Voice? The Voice does not have 8 judges. There is a 2 week period when the judges have mentors. The extra 4 people you read about are the mentors. The Voice only has 4 judges!

I just talked with my brother, an encyclopedia of classic rock and fine guitarist himself. I made him a DVD of the Kiev concert. He has watched it twice and thinks Adam is a far superior singer than Freddie. Bro also mentioned the following interview of Dr. May on "Fresh Air" with Terry Gross on National Public Radio. Have we seen this one at Atop? www.npr.org/2010/08/03/128935865/queens-brian-may-rocks-out-to-physics-photographyWe always forget that as good as Freddie was he's NOT a trained vocalist or a trained classical singer. .

I think the extra people are mentors or something.

Which is why it's silly to compare them, just enjoy them both on their own merits I say

www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/09/mariah-carey-triumphant_n_1760994.htmlSpeaking of singles, and Idol judges, apparently Mariah's new single, out only a few days, has already been judged a failure per this article in Huffington Post. Apparently, radio will not play a song until it hits the Top 10 on iTunes - and it better make Top 10 as soon as it's released. This makes me concerned for the release of the next Adam single, and is why I asked about the problem of iTunes sales for songs already purchased on an album. I still think a "PLL remix" would help.

Couple of things in regard to all the great conversations today. First, I went into a Barnes & Noble yesterday to check on Adam's cd, and they had stickers on them that said "includes the hits BTIKM, NCOE, Trespassing and Cuckoo." I thought that was unusual but think it clearly means there will be at least 2 more singles.
Now maybe this has been discussed already, but it occurred to me that Adam's hair is very similar to Billy Idols. First thing I said to DH. Now maybe this is a stretch but knowing Adam's clever sense of humor could that have been another clue he was giving us? Billy Idol hair? Going to judge on Idol? Ohh.. another clue that things happening behind the scene.. Atop members reported that some stores have re-stock Trespassing.. ;D

Ideal jugs? Adam Lambert has ideal jugs?!?
I know he's gay, but he's a MAN for goodness sake! Ideal jugs! That's the most offensive, homophobic...
Wait. What? You said Idol judge?...Murly, I just had to borrow the gif from you, darlin'. Emily is one of my favorite SNL characters in the history of ever.

That's exactly what I say, Q3! If he doesn't get it and I am a naysayer, I would still be disappointed. But the fun of speculating and putting all the obvious ;D clues together is priceless! And, it is almost Sept and he is damn excited so there is something on the horizon! Maybe we should make a list of what would be bigger than Idol that could be happening in Sept?! :-/ ??? OK, I got nothin! It's gotta be Idol! ITA and with what you said, Q3. We DON'T know, but we're doing what we have spent gazillions of hours of the past three years doing – trying to piece together the hints in order to solve the puzzle and unravel the mystery. And like with anything, I made the decision long ago to not let a fear of disappointment hold me back from emotionally investing something. When you really want something, I feel you need to commit emotionally in order to help manifest it. Negative thinking comes from a place of fear and who knows how much it becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy? And trying to convince myself that I don't really want something has never spared me an ounce of pain when it didn't happen. I believe in ~hope with all your heart, but know you'll survive if it doesn't happen. We'll be disappointed, sure. But like MyS*&@^#r said, we'd be disappointed anyway. It may take a day or two of venting, moaning and gnashing of teeth to get over it, but like we did with the postponements of "Trespassing," we got over it and lived to hope another day. Btw, rehearsing my I-Told-You-So dance for all the naysayers on my Twitter feed. JUST in case ... ;D
