Quick off-topic:I went to get my hair done yesterday, and Adam gave me some inspiration. I had a hot pink streak added on the side in my blond hair! I can sort of hide it if my job requires it (working with corporate clients, work mates mostly conservative-ish males), but I am planning to have it boldly out there when going to work tomorrow. As funny/weird it may sound, I probably wouldn't have done it if Adam hadn't changed his hair. That's where the idea and the courage came anyway. (I love the famous chromeashplatinum by the way!)

So, if that quote which caused all the excitement came from the M&G, where are all the tweets from fans who were there? Are these people just not on tweeter or is it the language barrier? Because more people would have heard it.
I have to disagree with you a little, Q3. The quote Adam was referring to was very clear---a new job he can't talk about yet. What else could, "way lost in translation" mean?
Not giving up yet, but may need to step off this roller coaster for a while

She follows the Japanese and translates for us!

What else could, "way lost in translation" mean? Not giving up yet, but may need to step off this roller coaster for a while Yes, he said this..... Adam Lambert @adamlambert Oh and FYI- that Japanese quote was WAY lost in translation. Then later in the Twitter Q&A he said thisEmily @justafanal @adamlambert SO NO SPECIAL JOB IN SEPTEMBER?
Adam Lambert Adam Lambert @adamlambert @justafanal not that I know of. Lol I said "I have stuff I'm working on for September but not ready to tell you about it" "STUFF" is broad
He says that he said, "I have stuff I'm working on for September but not ready to tell you about it." In other words, he did not say what he will be doing in September, just he is not ready to reveal it. So we still do not know what he will be doing in September. *** On the translation issue -- their clearly was an issue with the translation. We all knew that yesterday. But no question he said he would be busy in September and the public calendar is empty. The Japanese word for job and work can be the same, he could have said "work" not job -- and the translation would have been scrambled. It appears to me that at the M&G Adam said something about being really busy in September but that he was not ready to tell fans about it. That is consistent with the fan Tweets on Twitter. NOTE: My Japanese is not as good as Bani's English although I am working on it.

This is random. I wonder if Adam has an Olympic crush on Tom Daly, like my DD now has? lol Tom Daly is a cutie! LOL, sorry, but this just made me think of this, from Michelle Collins: Moving on to the important things. For example, did you know that every single gay guy I associate with (picture the entire audience of the Clarkson concert to give you a working number) would give up almost everything for a chance to “synchronize dive” with Tom Daley?
Which is kind of a weird thing, because this barely legal athlete looks like a child, albeit one with a few dozen shark abs. Daley is clearly adorable, but when my first instinct is to breastfeed him in the most non-sexual of ways, there should be a “Virgin Alarm” warning to all of you to take 15 steps off of a platform diving board and directly into an ice cube bath. ... The Brits came in fourth tonight and sadly didn’t medal. Young Daley, if you need some comforting, I know about 48 dudes who’d like to put you in a Baby Bjorn and run errands at Target with you for hours. (That’s code for an unprintable gay sex position, FYI. [So is “FYI.”]) www.vanityfair.com/online/daily/2012/07/2012-summer-olympics-day-three-recap-missy-franklin-gold ;D Must admit I've been enjoying Miss Collins' olympic recaps quite a bit. Thanks to the atopper (sorry, can't remember who now) who tipped us off to them... LOL! My daughter said her facebook and twitter feeds were full of comments about Tom Daly last night, which would mostly include young girls and gay guys in high school and college. Adam might be in the same boat with many who have an Olympic crush on a cute little swimmer. The young girls also have a crush on Nathan Adrian, the US swimmer that snuck in for an individual gold medal.

I found an interpetation of Adam's tattoo at fye. I thought it reminded me of something from the Greek mythology but I would never have found that myself, I admit it. masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:75.152.180.125You mentioned that the use of 'soothes the savage beast' in an add on Omega is a frequently misquoted version of the phrase 'Soothes the savage breast' from a Congreve poem. It is, however, worth mentioning that 'music soothes the savage beast' (or rather, Musica delenit bestiam feram) was already a phrase that had been in use since at least the time of the Roman Empire, and is a phrase associated with the story of Orpheus, who used music to put a savage beast (Cerberus) to sleep, allowing him to enter the underworld, and who later also used music to help convince Hades and Persephone to allow him the chance to bring his deceased wife, Eurydice, back from the dead. The tale of Orpheus was a very popular story in ancient Greece and Rome, with many philosophers and playwrights composing stories based on it. It is also thought by many that Congreve's line itself is an allusion to Orpheus, and that both quotes are equally valid. In this case, the Omega add may very likely have nothing to do with 'The Mourning Bride', and may just be based off the tale of Orpheus. SpartHawg948 23:47, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

Well, the twitter party was definitely damage control. But exactly what "damage" was he controlling? Did he spill too much and needed to reign things back in because Idol is in charge of making any announcements? Or, did he see all the absolute flailing about a job in Sept. that he knows isn't happening and needed to reign things back in before it got bigger than it already was? I think it could go either way. Anyway, I only saw the tweets from the twitter party last night, so I somehow missed the earlier one where it seems like he basically shoots down the whole thing. This just kinda changed everything for me. I mean, how much clearer could he have been? He could have said, "I see that people have interpreted the quote from Japan as being about the Idol judging job. I would have liked that too, but it's not going to happen. Other exciting things ahead, though!" That's how he could have clearly shot down the whole thing if he needed to do so. There's no way he could have missed the fact that people were talking about the Idol gig so why wouldn't he address the situation directly if he knows for sure it's not happening? It still sounds to me as if he knows he can't say anything yet so he deliberately gave a vague response that is still open to speculation.
