Kate was there -- they showed her running up the "hill". Sh*t, I missed it! But I'm sure we'll get a re-run. I'd love to see her! Although I must say I'm pretty sure she didn't sing live :( It sounded exactly like the album track. |

Hmmm, Kate Bush is who they were talking about? lol. LOVE her, but funny we thought they might be referring to Bowie! ETA: I mean when announcers were saying someone coming up who "hasn't performed live in a long time." Still, big surprises I'm sure of it. Uhhh Kate Bush hasn't performed live in 10 years. Bowie hasn't performed in 6. I understand, NGP. It's just early in the thread ppl were posting about announcers saying someone was performing that hasn't performed for a long time. We didn't know (or I didn't) if they were referring to a later performance or upcoming soon. Speculating, what we do best.  Should we trademark that! ;D Yay! George Michael! |

Watching ceremony on my netbook trying to answer some work e-mails... :dunno: not productive on either subject :-/ The picture is freezing every couple minutes and taking my attention from letters :  :dunno: George Michael sounds and looks a bit weird :-/ ??? There's something not quite right with his voice, effect after his illness? |

Watching this closing ceremony now... it would be really AWKWARD if among all these British superstars... and then Adam performs with Queen. LOL... It's one of my dream for him to be there, but now I'm kinda relieve that he's not there. |
