I'm not seeing this on his facebook page. He does mention Adam back in May but I'm not showing him as posting anything since June and he seemed to post quite a bit. ETA: I did find it. This post is from back in May also. Not 8 hours ago so I'm putting this in the highly unnnnnlikely category. |

And there is not an entry in the Internet Movie Database for it, which there would be if it were in pre-production of any kind, even pre-casting.

Oh dear, I am all excited about this movie prematurely as it is in the early rumor stage. I don't think it matters if Steve Strange is hugely famous. I picture this being an artistic movie and they are often about more obscure off beat people. I am sorry but I want Adam to focus on his music now and do whatever it takes to make Trespassing a Grammy winner, and a gold then platinum certificate. No acting now please. I think at this point Adam will do what he needs to do to get people buy Trespassing. I doubt this autobiography movie is one of them.  IMO, if they make this movie it will only be for UK market, doubt this guy's as big as Freddie Mercury :-/ |

I am looking at this movie idea as a way to help his music sales. To me, what he needs is more exposure and movies are one way to reach more people. It doesn't mean that he is going to stop his music career, but to me it could bring in a lot of new fans which he needs for sales. This is a movie about a singer and he will be singing it. Look at what Dream Girls did for JHud.
