Soaked, I am looking at this movie idea as a way to help his music sales. To me, what he needs is more exposure and movies are one way to reach more people. It doesn't mean that he is going to stop his music career, but to me it could bring in a lot of new fans which he needs for sales. This is a movie about a singer and he will be singing it. Look at what Dream Girls did for JHud. But Dreamgirls also stared Beyonce and was a BIG mainstream movie. This would be about a person virtually unknow in the US and chances are it wouldn't even be shown here, or on a very limited basis, so doubt it would do much at all for his sales. I'm relieved that's it's apparently not true. |
